The I School

Our family has been a part of The I School for over 6 years now, with 3 children, and highly recommend. We love the smaller class sizes and family feel of the school. Our daughter was lucky enough to be in Shelly and Angela’s Pre-K class for 2 years since we also decided to do a kindergarten bridge year there after touring many other facilities in the area. The warmth and genuine caring of Shelly and Angela cannot be beat! They love what they do and it shows. They were extremely patient with my daughter who started off shy and insecure. Now she has all the confidence in the world and is excelling in elementary school. Not only that, but they are wonderful at helping to foster sweet, well-mannered children that care about others. Our family has also been lucky to have Ms. Yaira, Ms. Kelsey, and Ms. Tee. All such wonderful teachers that genuinely care about their students and go out of their way to make the parents feel involved too. We also really like being able to check in and watch the cameras, the weekly updates with photos, and appreciate how responsive the staff is to email. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful school! Dedicated/professional teachers and owners, excellent hygiene, quality education, safety. Our 2 year old learned so much since attending this school! Thank you Dana, Ms. Katie, and all other staff members for being so caring and loving with the kids!

I wanted to update my review from 8 years ago. We are now on our 3rd child at the I school and I still think they are the best daycare center around. We moved 4 years ago but decided to drive across town so that we could keep our kids at the I-School. Over the years our kids have been through pretty much every class at the I school and have been very well prepared for kindergarten. Shelly and Angela with the Owls Pre-K class have made sure that our kids are ready to go to kindergarten and not miss a beat. Each of my kids have left the I-School knowing their sight words, how to write their complete names and counting well into the hundreds. The teachers here really care about the success of the children and are transparent with the parents. I highly recommend the I-School.

We have been at the I School for almost two years and we absolutely love it! I feel very comfortable and safe leaving my daughter there. The atmosphere is kind and nurturing. The teachers and staff are wonderful. They are educated and genuinely care about their job. They take time to invest in each child and make them feel special. Our daughter looks forward to going and isn't ready to leave most days! I will be enrolling my infant once I am ready for her to go to school and I would highly recommend The I School to anyone looking for a wonderful, safe place for their children to learn and grow!

My son has been going to I-School since he was a one year old. From the moment we walked in the staff made me feel welcome and comfortable. I left the I-School for about 6 months to have my son attend a daycare closer to my work. Unfortunately it was an absolute nightmare and I returned as fast I could. Having this experience made me appreciate the I-School even more. My son LOVES going to school each day and LOVES all of the staff. Since he is now five, we know most of the staff and they all know my son by name. They have very little turn over which is amazing. On the academic side, my son has learned so much. He cannot wait to come home and tell us all the things he has learned and even teaches us a few fun facts along the way. I love that the school has expectations in place while also letting them have fun. Anytime I need to email Dana or the teachers I get an immediate response. Along with that I get weekly updates on what’s going on in the classroom and pictures of my kiddo. I truly can’t say enough good things about the I-School!

My daughter has attended the iSchool since she was one years old and is now five. We have always had great experiences with each classroom and with each teacher. Every teacher has always known my child’s name (even if they never had her in class) which is a testament that each child is valued and not just a number. I am amazed each day when my daughter comes home and tells me the things she has learned. The owner (Ms. Dana) was even instrumental in my daughters potty training when my husband and I were struggling. She gave us great advice as someone who has decades of experience with children. We are expecting our second child and our new addition will soon become part of the iSchool family.

The I School is amazing. The teachers, the staff, the admin, everyone is fabulous. I had my son at another daycare center from the time he was 14 months - 19 months. It was fine until he transitioned to the 18 month room and then it was a horrible fit. They smashed in 18 kids with 2-3 teachers and it was such an uncontrolled zoo - my son was melting down every day and I was so stressed out. The instant I took my son to the I School, it was night and day. The classes are so calm, structured, and enjoyable. The kids seem so happy and challenged. He has absolutely blossomed since joining the school, I couldn't be happier. I truly know when I drop him off that he is going to have a great day of learning, playing, and growing - they care about each child and that comes out in every facet of the school. I applaud the owners and teachers for creating such an enriching place for the children, and a place that I, as a parent, can not worry about the care in which my child is in. Thank you I School !

My daughter has been attending The I School since she was 7 months old and now she’s in PreK preparing for graduation. We’ve had an awesome experience throughout our 4 years growing, learning and partnering with her teachers to ensure she’s developing as needed and finding ways I can help her progress thru our work at home also. Throughout the years, the teachers have been such a great support system, helping my daughter build confidence up in her knowledge and with me as a parent. The teachers at all age levels truly care about our children and passionate about what they do. There are no dry personalities, only optimism and dedication to ensure to a safe and well-rounded environment for every child at the school. They have added value to these early years of growth and development for my daughter and we’re so appreciative! I recommend every family visit The I School if they are looking for the same.

We have been at the I School for 4 years now and I can't express enough how excited my girls are to go to school every morning. They are learning so much and are thriving. They have recently completed a lot of updates to the school and it is a clean inviting environment for the kids and parents!!! I want to also give them credit for the protocols put in place while we are handling COVID, and the extra effort to ensure the safety of the children and staff.

The I School has been instrumental in helping me get my 2 year old foster son caught up from being behind. The staff is friendly and dedicated to the children. They were extremely flexible with my schedule. I would recommend the school to any parents. Wendy turned me on to a potty training method that has been extremely effective. My son is using all kinds of words he didn't before joining the school. His attention span has increased 10 fold since joining.

I don’t post many reviews, but my experience at the I-school has been so phenomenal that I felt
compelled to let others know. My daughter started at ischool after being at another day care for several years. I was nervous for the transition. I heard wonderful things about ischool from colleagues in Katy ISD and from neighbors. However, ischool EXCEEDS my expectations. By the end of her first week there, my daughter begged to stay longer. She is in part time for the summer in the Cardinals classroom. Her teacher is organized, nurturing, kind, and creates a wonderful and safe learning environment for every student. The management staff has answered every question I have had and made sure it was a smooth transition for everyone. I feel blessed to have found the ischool. I will definitely send any of my future children here!

Our son has been attending The iSchool for 3 years and you can definitely tell the difference between his extensive vocabulary and that of kids in other daycare centers that can barely articulate what they want. We were really surprised to find out that they taught them sign language before they could speak and even more so when our son began counting to 10 in Spanish. Needless to say, we are extremely pleased and will be enrolling our second child here as well.

I have been looking for an after-school program and daycare that can accommodate my 3 kids for years now. I will always find a good day care but struggle in the after-school area. That was until I found i-School. I moved to the area over a year ago and when the local school stopped offering the after-school program I started looking for an alternate place. I found i-School and was intrigued enough that I even moved my 4 year old there (she was already settled into a daycare). I'm so glad I did. i-School is not a daycare, its not a babysitter, your kids will not just play board games after school. This facility is a SCHOOL!!! its amazing. My daughter started writing words at 3 years old, she is learning about endangered animals, she is being educated by professionals not babysat by teenagers. My school age boys are doing science experiments, art projects, and their homework! they are being guided by a certified teacher. Mr. Trey will work with them in their homework everyday and challenge them. My older son is autistic and hated every other program he has been in since he was 5, he is 11 and is sad that he will be aging out of i-school as he loves it so much. They have done wonders with my children. The staff are amazing, and I would highly recommend the i-School to anyone. FYI they also offer an amazing Summer program!

My daughter went to a different daycare for the first 4 years and we thought it was fine UNTIL she started at the ISchool. She is completely blowing our minds with the things she is learning! I just had another baby and I’m so happy she will get to start at the ISchool. They have been very safe and following all COVID guidelines. I’m so happy we made this move!

I have two boys, one 16 months who attends full-time during the school year and then a six-year old who attends their after-school program. We have been going to the I-School for about a year now. For the past six years, I have had my older son in a couple of different daycares, including KidsRKids and the Learning Experience, The I School is BY FAR the best child care program ever and I have no plans to leave unless they shut down or make me! It is difficult to even explain what makes them so wonderful, but they absolutely are. Their employees truly care about the kids and you can tell that they love what they do. The management is smart enough to pay them well which is why they don't have a lot of turn over at all. I get email updates about my little one daily explaining what they are up to, usually with a cute photo. They do really cool activities and crafts at all age levels and my kiddos always seem happy whenever I pick them up. This school embraces a child's creativity and they teach Christian morals and values (which I love!). I PROMOTE and RECOMMEND the I-School!!!!!! Both of my children have gone to the I School and I would recommend highly! There is very low turnover with teachers, the kids are engaged in amazing activities, and the facility is clean and secure. I will always be grateful for the amazing teachers at the I school!

My kids have been enrolled at this school since they were 6 months old. I now have a 5 year old who will go to kindergarten next year. I have no concerns at all that he will be perfectly prepared for KISD as a result of what he has learned at the I School. I have been so impressed with the quality of the curriculum and the teachers. The child to teacher ratios are lower than average and there is a very low teacher turnover rate.

We have been at The I School for six years now with our 2 girls. The I School staff is like family. My girls have been loved, have learned so much, and have made great friends. One more year to go, and then I guess we will just have to stop by on occasion to say hello bring treats!

My son started going to the I School since he was 4 months old and he literally grew up there until he graduated from Pre K. He thoroughly loved The I School and his teachers. We are beyond thankful to his teachers and the administration for all the wonderful memories made at your institution. Thank you Ms. Dana and Team for doing a great job!!

My daughter started attending at age 2, when I went back to work, and she is now in Kindergarten and still attends via the afterschool program. All of her teachers, from the early 2 year old room to the afterschool program, are still there. All of the classroom teachers are degreed and/or certified in early childhood education. The education she received, both acedemic and social, has made her well prepared for elementary school in KISD. I also love the fact that her "best" friends from the 2 year old room are still with her in the afterschool program. Parents enrol their children in the I-school and keep them there for good reason!

Better teachers, better environment, better results.

The teachers and staff are dedicated and highly skilled, and have very low turnover rate. The student to teacher ratios are very low so the bottom line is that your child gets the attention they need to learn & achieve.
