McMenamins Anderson School Theater

This was such a cool experience. Such great food, awesome, and kind staff. The loads of historic art on the walls is so fun to read as well, thank you for such a great experience!

We stayed here for a night during a reno of our house and it was such a local gem I am sad I hadn't visited sooner! I love all the beautiful interior and gardens. The pool was amazing too. We had a fantastic dinner on the patio and got to see a movie in there theatre right after. Great local cocktails, liquors and ciders, some they made themselves!

I don't know why you'd ever go to a regular movie theater when McMenamin's is an option. There's a full bar and menu and they will deliver whatever you order directly to your seat. They have comfy, spacious rocking seats that aren't too close to other people. Prices are better than regular movie theaters too, unless you buy drinks and food of course. It seems worth it to me. We'll definitely come back.

This is the best movie theater in Bothell! The staff, facilities, food and atmosphere are excellent. I really like the vintage vibe and meal delivery to your movie seats! And they helped me recover my wallet that I lost. Thank you so much for the excellent service and experience! I’m definitely coming back!

I love this place! You can get a meal and a beer while you watch a movie AND kids are welcome so I don't need to spend $$ on a babysitter! There are lots of other fun things here besides the theatre and there are a variety of restaurants, but the theatre is a definite highlight in my book.

Boys in the Boat is the newish film. I went with my adult son and wife. I'm enjoying the wait for the show as I drink a nice seasonal cider and watch the video promoting various McMenamins events and interests. I'm so deeply impressed by the positive impact of that impressive business. I'm so happy to consume from this company.

If you really enjoy having a GREAT experience !! I loved the whole time i was here and the way I was treated. The staff here have build the community from the ground up. I really like the history of every location and this one blew my mind. You should be here.

Nice small theater. Food and drinks available. Single screen theater, so limited showings, but always great service. Well worth a visit!

Great place to watch first run movies while enjoying McMenamins range of ales and specialty drinks. The menu has the classic burgers, tots, and several other rotating selections. If you want good food, ales and a movie without the throng of kiddos, this is the place to be!

Really loved the character of this place. It was a busy 3rd of July evening, even with quarantine, so we had to wait for a table for quite some time, but it was totally worth it! Great burgers, fries, and the casian tots are some of the best I've ever had. The service was great and drinks were too. We absolutely adore the bonfires! Great places for groups to hang out as well!

A perfect experience. Everyone working there was so wonderful, the room was clean and interesting, the aesthetic of the whole compound was cool and exciting. Will definitely be going back.

Not a real review: we weren't actually in the regular restaurant. We went up for the Thanksgiving buffet and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. A huge room full of families and their friends enjoying a really nice buffet. Everything was warm, if not piping hot and no apathetic steam-table vegetables.The wait staff were cheery and helpful, the salmon particularly good, and the care put into my vegetarian "field roast" impressive. Pretty much perfect Thanksgiving.

Seriously my favorite theater in Washington. Small but so cozy and service is always so great. They bring you your food/drink order... amazing tater tots with a nice alcohol beverage to chug it down. If I remember correctly their movie selection is usually two movies to choose from (usually the most anticipated ones) and when I lived in Bothell 2017-2020 the prices of tickets were 7 bucks... basically half of what you would pay else where but you get way better service, food, drinks, and people ( I love the people in Bothell, amazing community). To make things better, they are right next to their bar, small hotel, outdoor heated pool, and during summer this place is always thriving with happy people enjoying life.

Wonderful theater for children with autism. It was not to dark and the sound was just right for my grandson. They have a full bar and they offer a full menu of eats. You order and your food is delivered, hot and straight to your seat. They have all the regular snacks and drinks also. We had a great time and will be going back!!!

One of my favorite theaters to go watch a movie at. The food comes from the restaurant next door and is easily the best food I have ever had at a theater. I recommend getting one of the two rows that have a table so that you can properly enjoy your meal before or during the movie.

Fantastic place. Great pool, and the whiskey bar is great with knowledgeable staff. The movie theater is a great bargain and you can order food and drinks as well. (Picture is of a drink (For piglet)they made specially for the movie Christopher Robin...which was super cool. Also added picture of the drinks menu when we watched the movie)
