Attention all Land Rover enthusiasts! I stumbled on Austin Rover Works recently. I had my Land Rover Discovery 2 repaired here. The staff is very friendly, respectful and professional. Drew who is one of their mechanics, replaced my old front bumper, with a new aftermarket bumper that I provided. He took the time to properly fit everything and even went above and beyond, to make sure, everything was the way that I wanted it to be.. I highly recommend Austin Rover Works to anyone who is looking for quality repairs and or modifications. I will definitely return for future repairs and maintenance!

There are 2 Land Rover Dealerships in Austin, TX. One is Downtown Austin, the other one called "North Austin".
Do yourself a favor and ignore both of those.
I recently moved from Scottsdale, AZ, and this shop is by far the best I've done business with. Please bring your Rover here. Your Rover will be happy and it will thank you for the rest of it's 250,000 mile life (yes, I trust this shop to keep mine alive that long). Keep Rovin!

Awesome folks. Weve taken our 2021 LR Defender 110 to Austin Roverworks twice now - once for routine maintenance and last time for a full brake job, both times the work was flawless. Furthermore, based on their attitude they just LOVE these trucks. I would recommend highly - dont waste time going to dealership, they will just rip you off.

Ken and his crew are great. Prompt courteous service, and we'll versed in all things Land Rover, all models.

These guys are AWESOME! I purchased an LR4 from a local dealer and RoverWorks did a pre-buy inspection for me. Saved me thousands! Awesome customer experience, and hands down 10x better (and more affordable) than the Dealership.

Just have to give a huge thumbs up to Austin Rover Works!!! They are overall great guys working hard to make repairs with amazing turnaround time. Their upfront repair costs make you feel they are a business of integrity and trustworthiness ! What a rare quality to find such a high standard of skill on every level for repairs on Rovers!! I also love seeing the restoration on some amazing vehicles being brought back to life!

Don't waste your time going to the Land Rover "stealership" - they are clueless, super limited on seasoned mechanics and always so bookedout that they no openings to look at your urgent problem! Why? Because they are always overbooked with stupid things like oil changes (they make the easiest money there) and any basic repair is way, way overpriced! Ken and crew KNOW how to diagnose and FIX your car like no one else in Central Texas - period!
Look, you bought a complex and expense car to repair - don't get hoodwinked by the mail out postcards claiming " We work on European Cars too!". Good grief - the Land Rover brand is unique but also with multiple corporate changes in ownership over the past 15 years - it takes a seasoned expert to do this job right the First time and Ken and Crew are the Central Texas experts you need.

Austin RoverWorks did some work on my forever mechanically challenged Range Rover Evoque. Had a break down situation where we had to tow the car to the facility after hours. The owner, let me drop the car off after hours. Got me a quote the very next business day, overnighted a pair of keys to me i left in the vehicle, and was very reasonably priced for the repair. My only gripe was the check engine light was on, and they never mentioned it or gave me a price to fix what was wrong, causing the light to come on. Would definitely bring my Rover back to this place!!

I went to Austin RoverWorks because of their great reviews. They're very knowledgeable and fast! The same day I went in they had a correct diognosis for the oil leak and fixed. They also fixed a leak in the ac system. They get straight to the point and that's a plus in my opinion. I will continue to use them for my Range Rover.

I brought my 2010 Land Rover lr2 (190k miles ) with a lean code po171 and po174 code - they offer free diagnostic, turns out the o2 sensor bank 1 sensor 2 was bad - they ordered the parts and replaced it 2 hrs. Truly a 5 star service, they are knowledgeable and experts in Land Rover service! Would 100% recommend!

The team at Austin rover works are a rare find. Reasonable pricing, quick turnaround, excellent work. Went in for a blown head gasket on my discovery, and they got the truck running like nothing ever happened. Highly recommend using them

Best LandRover Mechanic in Texas. Friendly Service.

If you have an older Range Rover, this is the best place to take it in the Austin and surrounding area. Ken (the owner) is a Master Land Rover mechanic and has a tremendous knowledge of the entire product line. When service is needed Ken's prices are reasonable and service has always been top notch. Ken has taken care of my car for 21 years. His best advice to me and my son - "Drive it like you hate it ". Keeps our Range Rover running great!

I have known Ken, the owner, for 35 years back when we worked together at Land Rover San Antonio. They have been working on my Land Rovers for over a decade now. Was just at their shop this afternoon for a minor repair. Friendly, kind, knowledgeable and a great value. I don't let anyone else touch my Land Rovers. Highly recommended.

This independent Rover shop is great. Techs diagnosed a squealing noise issue I had within 5 min and had me back on the road in no time. I had always heard great things but finally had a chance to experience it firsthand. Highly recommend for your Land Rover maintenance and repairs!

Ok lemme tell you. These guys are absolutely amazing not only in their talent but just as human beings they have from day one made us feel like family and have gone above and beyond for me more than once. I highly recommend Rover works to any Landy owner.. and you can't beat their fair pricing to top it off.

After an unexpected 36hr trip in my older LR, I was desperate to get it checked out. The check engine light was screaming and I'd already gotten three different opinions from general mechanics that said everything from new spark plugs to an entirely new engine. I took it in to RoverWorks and they spent a day diagnosing. By the end of the day, I had a laundry list of items to be fixed including a magical unmarked switch they found that was drawing from the battery even when the car was off! I had a trip coming up that weekend so I asked them to fix whatever they could during the next business day.

By end of day, everything was done and the price was UNDER what they quoted me. When I came back to pick it up, they walked me through everything they did. I'm not super car savvy but they were clear without being condescending.

A few days later, the check engine light popped on again and back I went. My gas cap was ill fitting. They buffed it and sent me on my way at no charge. Again, the service came with a thorough explanation of the issue without me asking for it.

Great service. 10000% recommend to all car owners. As a petite young woman who doesn't look like she'd ever hop in a LR... I'd highly recommend.

Billy and Ken took really good care of me. I brought in a 'fun' 1997 LR Disco 1 for them to do a once over and help get back up and running. They did a thorough review of everything I would need to make it perfect and broke it down to what's immediately needed, what I could work on and what we don't really need to take care of unless it really bothered me (trim pieces and such that are surprisingly harder to find than thought!).

These guys went above and beyond to make sure they helped me get the most value for the money and get this truck back to running status.

If you have a Land Rover, I highly recommend you give these guys your business. Stand-up gentleman, fair pricing, and you get to see some pretty awesome trucks on their lot!
