Amaro Bistro

This place is a vibe. We went there in a group of 12. They were kind enough to accommodate our same day reservation. Service was fast and our waiter was patient, polite and answered all our questions. Food, dessert and wine were great. We ordered a margherita pizza for the table. I got a lumache con pesto pasta. We ordered three desserts for the table - tiramisu, panna cotta, and torta mascarpone. Everything was great but tiramisu was exceptional. We had a good time. There is street parking around which can be tricky to find depending on the time of the day.

We were a group of 12 and the restaurant was very accommodating! The atmosphere is nice and cozy. The Ricotta al Tartufo with truffled chestnut honey was perfection but the bread that came along with left me desiring for more. The Ravioli di Zucca was on the sweeter side for me but balanced well with hazelnuts. The Lumache con Pesto was flavorful with fresh pesto but I wished it had more burrata. After the main course, we got some desserts. The panna cotta was one of the best I’ve had! Just the right about of sweet and great texture! The tiramisu was alright, slightly on the sweeter side. The flourless torta was slightly too dense but tasted great with dark chocolate coming through. Paired with some nuts and it was an indulgent treat!
Lastly, our server was great with taking our orders, answering questions, and giving suggestions. Overall a great place and worth visiting!

Food was truly excellent. Great mix of flavors. I did multiple apps as my meal. My friend loved her pizza. It was a bit noisy.. what really stood out though was the excellent service. Our server (Jake) was attentive and very helpful with recommendations. Timing of everything was perfect too - surprising considering they were completely full. Super shout out though to the young man and young woman who were refilling waters and bussing the tables - I wish I had caught their names. They were working so efficiently and diligently and paying very close attention to all the tables. Water was always refilled, I accidentally dropped a fork and he heard it and grabbed it before I could bend over to do so and had a new one for me immediately. Very friendly and personable. Sorry to say this is a rarity for their generation (I know - I totally sound like an old granny but....) very impressive. Will definitely be back!!

We had reservations for a late dinner on Saturday night and our waiter, Zach, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and the wine selection and the gluten-free options. Our meal was delicious.

Lively restaurant. We say at the chefs bar and interacted with the staff. Andre was very attentive. Must try the seasonal ravioli. Delicious.

Visited Amaro Bistro for the first time. We reserved our table via Open Table app. Opted for the Main Dining Area instead of Bar or Chef's Corner. It was difficult to get a table at the Main Dining Area between 5.45 pm and 7.15 pm for a Sunday evening. Hence, we settled for an early dinner at 5.30 pm.
Everything about the restaurant was satisfactory. The food was delicious and cannot be missed. We tried out the Artichoke Burrata and Crème Brûlée from the Fresh Sheet, and Manzo Tritato Pizza.
This is going to be our go-to place for Italian food in the Bothell area. Highly recommend it.

We had a lovely meal on the patio. The restaurant was busy but not crowded and we sat and dined in a very relaxing manner.
The food was very good although I think the carbonara could have been a little more creamy. The lasagna was excellent.

Had a fabulous weeknight diner. The bruschetta was delicious, perfect salt and oil ratio. For dinner the filet. I was surprised at the mushroom hash and mushroom puree how delightful it was. For a sweet treat, try the cheese cake. Perfect tart and sweet ratio.

My boyfriend and I are in the area for a few months traveling as contracted traveling Nurse and Respiratory Therapist duo. We have hit up many restaurants in the area. Trying to get a taste of the greater Seattle area. This place is the first we have been repeats! It's so good. The service is amazing! Mitch, the bartender, is hands down one of the best genuine servers we have had since being here. We have not had one bad dish. But you cannot go wrong with the lasagne. It's to die for!

This is my second time at this place. Last time I ordered salmon and it was great!. Tender, not dry. Today I ordered chicken (Pollo Arrosto ) and it is great again! Food is so fresh and tasty. The service is 10 out of 10. And special Thank you to the bartender - the cocktails are so tasty! Definitely coming back. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious food, great service, and atmosphere.

You have to show your vaccination information in order to dine here. Our waiter Zach gave us excellent service. The calamari was deliciouso. The dishes were a generous portion. The affogato was yummy. I would definitely dine here again.

This is one of our go to places. They have several vegetarian options, the food is excellent, and the service is consistently good. They also support and work with the local bakery in town for their bread. I will say I hate their dining area-- it's loud, overwhelming, and tables are WAY too close together in my opinion, but the bar area is fantastic. Would recommend!

Armor Bistro is fantastic italian restaurant ! 😊 The atmosphere is cozy, and the food is delicious. Service was top-notch too. A must-visit spot! 🍴👍🏼

First time here and we were very pleased. It's an inviting place with a fresh modern style. Chose a Ceasar Salad to start and went with the Carbonara. Thoroughly enjoyed it! The housemade pancetta tied all the flavor together. Portion sizes were enough that everyone in our group had take home boxes. Our server was attentive and friendly. Plates were cleared promptly and water refilled often. They offer a large selection of wines and have a good offering of beers. It's a nice location in this growing area of the city, we had a fun time and will be back.

Came here for our Anniversay dinner and was pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed the food. This place delivers the tasty authenticity that you look for in a mom and pop restaurant. We could taste the love! We ordered the halibut, sirloin, and the tiramisu to-go. We also ordered their calamari, which is sauteed, not fried! Everything was packaged well and with convenience in mind. This place is a must try.

Generally great quality. I’m giving them a 4.5 star and rounding up. The staff gets the job done and there’s really nothing to “complain” about, but no one has ever really gone out of their way to be friendly to us. It’s like they know customers are a necessary evil, so they have to serve us, but just don’t want to be there. I wouldn’t say that is the average attitude, but after 10 ish visits, it’s happened enough times that it’s worth mentioning. Some servers bartenders are just warmer than others, I guess. The food has never disappointed.

A delicious and relaxing meal at this downtown Bothell institution. Fresh pasta made in the restaurant is such a treat these days and you can taste the difference. Excellent service that was prompt when needed, but not rushed.

I'm not sure why it took us so long to try this place, but Amaro Bistro, we will be back! I managed to forget to take a picture of the deliousness that we ordered/ate, but we ordered a beet salad, Carbonara, and the Ravioli di Funghi, and every bite left you wanting more! Can't wait to go back and try some other dishes.

Fantastic all around. Sherman was an 11 out of 10 with service, charisma and recommendations. Carbonara was spot on. Atmosphere was classy and nice while down to earth. Definitely will come back.
