Secret Beach

Super Secret Beach is so cool & a great little secluded spot around Roy Guerrero on the Colorado River. The path to get there (be prepared to climb up & down the path) is fun, too—it’s an adventure! Terrific spot (particularly in the cooler months) to take your pups for a swim. With the current / rushing water from the damn, there are no real worries to be had about algae or anything of the sort.

This location is a short walk from the parking lot. Plenty of beach to play when we were there. It's all rocks so bring water shoes. There is plenty of shade, too. The water was flowing rather fast, so we stayed out of it for the most part and just played in the rocks and shallow pools.

Love going here and taking my dog. There are 2 good spots to post up in the shade with chairs or hammocks and lots of sand area to bask in the sun. Neat spot because the water levels raise and fall based off how many sections of the dam are open. There are areas you can swim but most of super secret beach is about 3 feet deep

Place always nice and cool folks too but to many city and law enforcement latley...harassing the homeless again

Interesting little area

Nice and clean place .. need to walk for 10 min to reach the beach spot.... Very safe and nice place to get kids to play in water which is not too deep... Picnic spot for summer. ...

Out if the way place that is pretty nice. Unfortunately people have parties and picnics but don't pick up their trash. People need to be more responsible and respectful. The low(er) rating comes from visitors not the location.

There's no way to get in, you need to cross a small pound..

This is just a small watering hole nothing special. Although they did have a rope to swing into the water from.

Very dirty, lots of trash

Not what it used to be. Just like the rest of Austin, this place used to be a locals only spot, then more and more people started to go there. The problem is that all these new people do party’s there and never pick up there trash! Bring water shoes because there is always glass everywhere. And be careful there is homeless camps around and the homeless are not always nice! Or fully clothed so be advised when bringing your kids!
