Choate's Custom Upholstering

My wife wanted our kitchen chairs recovered and to add some support to the seat. I had no idea where to go and ran across this place. I went in and got a quote that I thought was very reasonable. After dropping off the chairs I read the review and grew worried.
I got a call today to pick up the chairs and they were great!!! They finished way more quickly than they had quoted and the price was exactly what was said. My wife was very happy!!! Well done, great work, affordable, and done quickly. Thanks!

They may be good, but, Mr. CHOATES daughter was a very unpleasant person and she pretty much chose a different path. Treating your dad disrespectful don't fly with me.

Took a chair in to get recovered. Price was high but I had used them before years ago and expected the same quality. They did not restain the legs as I had asked, but the seat pad was the stiffest, hardest foam I have ever sat on, and the cushion is not even proportioned to the chair correctly, it’s off and noticeable. I used them back in 2000 for two chairs and a couch. The quality was better then. I expected to get my money’s worth, unfortunately I did not this time. Makes me sad as I try to shop locally and use small business. For $500 I expect better quality than this.

Took 4 chairs in to have the wicker done first, and when i took the other 4 in to do, not only did he go up by $20 a chair he also charged me for work i never approved. He said he would not charge me the extra $100 for the repairs i didn't ask for but he charged me anyway. Will not ever go back. Don't like a company that cant do as they say.

Took my car in to get re-Upholsterd. Did a terrible job! Can you imagine taking a 2 year old car, to have the arm rest repaired with new leather you provided, and the guy re-upholsters the car, and drills in some screws to hold it in place?!?! Ugly! No refund was offered. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Terrible job! 200.00 dollars just for small pieces!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. They did a terrible job on my vehicle and their customer service is even worse. Please do not waste your money here.
