North Beach Dental

It had been a while since I've been to the dentist and the People at North Beach Dental were nothing but fantastic through and through. From the hygienist checking my gums to the the individual taking x-rays to the dentist providing the cleaning, everything was great. If I had to say any negatives it was that it was a bit slow and took longer than I anticipated but they were more than apologetic and recognized they were behind.

I'll be happy to return to this dentist office on my next visit.

Dr Patel is a superior dentist. I have had a fear of dentist since a bad experience in Vietnam in 1967. Dr Patel made me feel comfortable while in the chair and was a straight forward no nonsense dentist. I highly recommend Dr Patel at North Beach Dental. Ms Adams the business manager is more than that she told me a few times all was going to be ok and it was. JO

Loretta did an amazing job on my deep cleaning. I was a bit nervous going in to it because of the extent of work to be done, but it honestly was the most comfortable dental procedure I’ve ever had done! Thanks Loretta!

I came here for cosmetic work. I received quotes with a couple of offices. While dental work, especially cosmetic, is never inexpensive, I am so happy with my results. I had the top front 6 teeth done with veneers (except for one that had a crown as there was already a crown in place so I needed to replace it to match.) Dr. Sumerlin was professional and I feel honest in the consultation. I wanted to do 8 teeth with crowns. He discussed the options and led me to the less expensive option of veneers and advised with my smile I should only need 6 and we could add the other 2 later if I decided. He was right. I'm happy with the 6 and glad I didn't unnecessarily spend the extra money. The staff is great. I do have to say if you need/want nitrous oxide for your procedure, let the office know before your appointment. They are a caring staff and want adequate time to set up the equipment safely. I didn't realize this might be an issue, but it worked out as I arrived to the office early and there was a cushion between patients.

Great dental office. My son was having his ortho appts at this location. Was a little further than I would’ve liked to drive , but the service more than made up for it. Very friendly and professional . You’re greeted as you walk in the office door. The orthodontist took the time to explain the process and treatment time . Dental assistant made my son feel comfortable at every appt and made small talk with him while he was in the chair. I appreciate the appt reminders by text and sometimes by a phone call to confirm upcoming appts. Early appt times made it easy to schedule ortho before work and school . Would definitely recommend this office to others.

Dr. Summerlin is extremely nice, polite and explains the process clearly to his patients. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable. They create a treatment plan that is broken down into phases so that there are no surprises.

My wife had a root canal done and felt little pain when dentist was numbing her tooth area to be worked on. She said the staff was friendly and informative. Very helpful front desk mentioned the discount program to save us money.

Dr. Summerlin is a great dentist with a great staff. Very thorough and concerned about the patients needs.

This place is steps away from my home , which is why picked it. They staff was amazing, very thorough. They did X Ray's, checked my gums, looked at scabs, gave me plans and options of what to do next. I was able to see what the difference was between every single tooth I have and got info in invisiline.
The kid wants braces because of his mini gap, so they gave me info for him as well. Theres a special deal right now, where if you Yelp or check in online you get a toothbrush, not just any toothbrush, but an electric one. So, of course I did that.
These people really take care of you, and I was pleased with that. You can book online as well, but I would recommend just calling because I booked my husband and myself and only 1 appointment with through. Sometimes technology just sucks. I would recommend them.

Being a single mother of 3 I was so relieved that I could afford my sons braces! North Beach Dental helped me figure out a low payment and the payment arrangements. They are friendly yet professional and we love coming to this office!

I have experienced two Dentist. The warm welcome from the staff. The care from technicians to Dentist was exactly what all consumers should receive!! I went in for a crown. By the time I left I knew I found my Dentist. Thank you everyone at North Beach Dental! 🏆🎊🎉

These guy's are fantastic I'd highly recommend them they explain everything they are doing and charging your insurance they give you all your options and explain everything they are doing and how the whole process works the whole staff was friendly 🙂

Dr. Sommerlin is one of my favorite people ever! I’ve been a patient for over 3 yeara now. I had an emergency with 2 of my teeth and he saw me within 48 hours, fixed the problem, and I was on my way. He’s so caring and so is his staff! I’m moving to a different country soon and I wish I could see him as my regular ongoing dentist there.

Lovely staff. My hygienist did a wonderful job. Everything from exam results, x-rays, and pricing was explained well and they were very transparent with pricing. I'm very very happy I went there. Highly recommend this place.

My family has been going to North Beach Dental for over 20 years now. Dr. Sumner, and dental technician Tanya, have been fantastic partners for us in regards to our healthy teeth and gums. I've never once had an issue with the front office over billing or appointments.

Had a crown made. Dr Summerlin and staff were wonderful!! Awesome experience. Very good pain management during the process. Dentist, dental assistant and Front Desk staff were thorough, compassionate, professional and just cool folks. Definitely will return. Good experience.

Had to find new dentist due to insurance change. North Beach Dental made the transition seamless. They got me in quick for exam and everyone from the office staff to the radiologist were very professional and friendly. Dr. Summelin was super knowledgeable and explained everything that was going on with my teeth and gums and provided recommendations for treatment. Followed up with a deep cleaning and Tonya was Outstanding!

My experience at North Beach Dental Was terrific! Charlena did A Fantastic job! Charlena is very Thorough and does fantastic cleaning. No pain, excellent educator.
