Indo Pak Supermarket

I love to go to Indo Pak for my Desi groceries. They have a good variety of deals, spices, tea and almost everything. They always have fresh and good quality meat, their butchers know how to cut it good, specially the goat meat.
I never had any problem with their customer service. This is a family owned business based on honesty. I highly recommend it to the community.

Indo-Pak is my go to place for all my grocery needs. They are always friendly, organized, well stocked and clean. Meat is always fresh and halal with the best prices in town, only place I trust!! Here is a picture of the meat we got from them cooked!!

This is a family owned business and they are very kind to their customers. The meat is very cleanly cut and they offer a wide variety products! I have always found what I needed there.

One of my favorite go-to shops for halal meat, fresh desi vegetables, and desi groceries. They have a great selection of rice, flours, lentils and masalas that are otherwise hard to find in Austin. Not to mention the variety of frozen items, ranging from naans and parathas to frozen samosas and other snacks. You’ll find everything you need under one roof. Highly recommend Indo-Pak!

We've been going to this store for years - since its opening. Good quality meats and produce. The mangoes are divine. At this point, it's more than just a store for us.

Loved the meat place. Groceries are good too. But the customer service is the best. Everyone at the store are so welcoming. If you need halal meat, you don't have to look further. Fresh cut pieces of your choice right in front of you if you are willing to walk in and place an order. I usually call ahead with all the description and they let me know a pick up time. Win win for both.

I have been going to this store for a very long time. The owner of the store is a very kind generous person. Specially with current situation they are doing community service by providing us with food and putting themselves at front line dealing with people, and exposing them to potential virus.
Some may see as a business opportunity but I see it as service to us and we should appreciate their effort. Let’s not forget that people working at stores are humans and they have their ups and downs, and dealing with impatient folks can take a toll on ones nerve.
I personally thank you for what you are doing for us and will always be your loyal customer.

I like coming here for the special spices and mixes I can’t find elsewhere. The meat is also good, I’m not good with names of cuts (beginner cook) - so I tell the butchers what I want to prepare and they inform me what kind is best for that meal. The owner and employees have always been kind, humorous, and very helpful with information.
To the lady who left the bad review about meat notification, you always tell them when you want your meat order done by and they will make it for that time. They don’t call you unless you didn’t show up for your meat order, nor does any other meat market do that.
I hope their business continuous prosperous despite these stressful times.

This is a great store to get your spices and meat and grains for your Pakistani and Indian cooking. The meat is great and does not smell I even recommended it to all my non desi fds and they love it as well. I wish if they could have a small kitchen where they can make hulwa poori in the mornings that would be awesome.

Best halal meat in town. They are particular about getting small goats and cows.

Indo Pak Supermarket has all kinds of verities for Indian and Pakistani food. Their meet is always fresh and available at comparable prices. The staff is very nice and friendly. I like their home made chicken Biryani, and chicken patty :)

UPDATE 2022: I ventured back here for a quick pickup of some masalas and was surprised by the new options and cuts available. I will definitely recommend this now for goat and lamb.

The meat was not fresh, unhygienic about cutting chicken, beef and goat all on the same table. Don’t recommend this place.

This is my first visit to an Indian/Pakistani store. This store is well organized, and makes good use of the space to pack a large store into a small space.

I am a foodie, and I'm frustrated that regular American style grocery stores have reduced their spice selections to the point that they have 100 brands of the same basic spice mixture, eliminating the space that used to be occupied by a wider variety of single ingredient spices. As a result the grocery stores do not have any real selection at all... unless you really need 100 varieties of pre-mixed bbq rubs. I found Indo Pak had a whole isle side dedicated to an easy to shop selection of fresh spices, with long dates on them. Every thing I chose has years of shelf life, and most of the items were in 200 gram (~7 ounces) packages for between $1.29 and $2.49. So for $10.50 I purchased spices that would have cost me at least $60 at normal grocery store prices.

Most of the spices looked like they came in whole or ground versions, but I generally choose whole and grind them myself, so having the choice of whole spices is a big win for me.

There was another item I was looking for, and I walked right to the item as if I knew where it was all along. In general I found the store very easy to find exactly what I came for, so my experience was very efficient.

I was warmly greeted at the checkout, and the service was fast and efficient. I think I have found a new favorite grocery store! I plan to spend more time here in the future, and will be studying the cuisine in more detail as I learn how to make more of the food that I have only enjoyed in restaurants before.

This place is a gem! I recently purchased the cookbook Vegan Richa's Indian Kitchen and have been wanting to cook recipes from it. The Indo Pak Supermarket had everything I needed. They have tons of spices, nuts, chutneys, curries, lentils & rice at beyond reasonable prices. The cashier was friendly and helpful with locating the spices I was looking for. They have all of the Indian spices you could want and so many jars of tahini, too. I'm so happy I happened upon this store and even more happy that it's right down the road from my house. This will be my go-to for spices and Indian foods from now on. Thank you, Indo Pak!
