I used Marcelino and R&L Roofing for our Hotels and I was so impressed about his sincere quotes and work that I used him for our own house to renew the entire roof. We not only was getting an expert analysis of our roof, he brought shingles samples to us and explained the different qualities of the shingles. As we are HOA controlled he found the right color and the quality we wanted. On top of everything his price came in lower then the other 3 Roofing companies we had an estimate from and we had better quality of Shingles the the offers we had from other companies. R&L replaced our roof after storm damage. Marcelino explained everything in much greater detail than any other contractor we spoke to. His crew did a superb and fast job. Call R&L first if you need roof work done.

We just moved into our new house and our first night the roof leaked after massive thunderstorms passed through the area. Marcelino got back to us within an hour and once his crew arrived they had the roof patched in no time and in good order in less than 30 minutes. Our roof required a series of small, but technical repairs at different locations. Water was bypassing flashing at corners in the roof and leaking. We had other companies try to solve the issue by “patching” the problem, but this only made it worse somehow.

That is when we called R&L and Marcelino gave us a bid that same afternoon. He showed me how the previous contracted had made a few mistakes when diverting water through a series of complex bump out windows and corners in the roof-line. He also showed me how he was going to fix the root-cause and not only patch the problem. By the next week his guys were already working on the roof and got everything done by the end of the day.

Since then, we’ve had a bit of rain and a bit of ice, and so far the roof appears to be working properly. Overall, I am pretty glad we went with R&L roofing. During this second go-around trying to fix my roof, we had several other bids. Several roofing contractors wanted to continue to do more patch work, but Marcelino showed me why that would eventually lead to problems, while other contractors also correctly identified the root cause (flashing) but wanted to charge a lot more for the project.

During last year's stormy season, R&L did a great job at repairing a leak on my grandparent's roof. We were able to request emergency repairs, and they had a team out to the house asap. Very prompt and professional.
