This sweet bakery is a little gem. The classic, inviting storefront door chimes a welcoming bell as you enter and the comforting smell of baking dough prepares you to make your choice of savory or sweet treat.
We chose a blueberry donut and almond croissant - both delicious, though my croissant was particularly satisfying. The bakery cases are not huge but seem to have just the right amount of variety - cookies of all sizes and flavors, donuts, pastries, pies, and savory choices. A loaf of their apple bread caught my attention and we decided to take one to go. This ended up being my husband's favorite.
The gal at the counter was kind and helpful. This seemed to be popular with the locals. About 10 customers came in during the 20 minutes we were there! The atmosphere had a vintage flair with the checkered floor and hand painted walls.
This was a charming stop and a lovely little local business to support. We’ll be back!

We've been by this place so many times but have never stopped in. On a planned bakery exploring trip, this was one of our first stops. We stepped into the business and were overwhelmed by the decisions we'd have to make. I told the employee, "One of everything." And we nearly did. I recommend the peanut butter cup cookie, if you're a PB fan. Several types of cinnamon rolls, both with and without raisins. Donuts, cakes, muffins. Savory items as well. Oh and coffee.

We got the Apple fritter ($3.50), and it was soooooo good. So soft and sweet.

The most popular donuts are the Apple fritters, maple donuts, and the coconut.

What a find in North Bend❣🥳 This cozy bakery had scrumptious savories such as quiche, ham and cheese sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches with egg, sausage and carrots, and more. They also had a wide variety of sweets — from lemon bars to cinnamon rolls, cookies to cakes, cupcakes to donuts, coffee, a variety of lattés and canned drinks!!

First time in. Pastries are all handmade and lots of time and dedication is put in to make the variety offered. I was impressed by the brioche donuts which are a staple in my home country and they are only offered overseas so this was super cool to come across that. The other few things we got were also fresh and baked just right. Items are priced very reasonably. Pastries weren’t overly sweet but just right which we really enjoyed. I’m looking forward to making this my regular weekly stop.

When I was a kid it was called George's Bakery and they made the second best doughnuts, pastries and cakes...this bakery is number 1!

A little high priced but worth every penny. Don't mind paying more for food so worth it. P

Yum! Baked on-premises and choices (savory and sweet) to suit every palate. I had a 3-chocolate cookie for breakfast , took cheese and bacon quiche for lunch on-the-go and a couple of russian tea cakes for a late-afternoon treat. Very friendly and I think I may have been served by Georgia herself.

Lovely, cozy spot to grab baked goods and coffee. Incredible service. Highly recommend. The food and coffee are great, the baked goods are beautiful (see photos). And the custom-painted murals inside the bakery are absolutely fantastic.

Stopped here after a nice run on the trail nearby. They make a great ham & cheese croissant, plus other great treats too! (Had to try something else last weekend as I missed the last h&c croissant by 1-person!

Donuts ( best one custard filled) is absolutely the best in WA. Small minus, bakery don’t make espresso just drip coffee, but it didn’t stop us to visit them again.

Truly love this place. Everything just feels so authentic and about the community. The lines can be long, and the wait can be a pain, but there is just something so wholesome about this place. All of the baked goods are really yummy and are always a hit with out household. The King Donut (not shown in the picture) is also such a fun treat to get! It can be split between a few people!
The coffee here is meh, but I don't usually come here expecting good coffee, I come here expecting good baked treats and they always hit it out of the park.

Very friendly staff and excellent food. We had a slice of spinach feta quiche and Mt Si Panini (turkey, provolone, sun dried tomatoes, red onion, arugula, & pesto). Both we absolutely delicious and I might have to go back and get that sandwich again some time. The quiche has a lovely thin flaky crust and was tasty. Perfect place to stop after a hike. Sat out front with out dog which was nice, but if I were to do it again I would probably go down to the train park that is about a 10 minute drive.

I got a piece of pumpkin cake after a hike. It was sooo tasty! My only feedback, maybe label the items in the bakery cases? During my first visit it was a busy Saturday at noon. I needed to keep asking the employee what items were. And I felt like I was being a bother.

This is a nice clean bright bakery with a decent collection of baked goods. We shared a selection of pastries and I enjoyed my cup of coffee too. The staff was pleasant and helpful with restaurant recommendations. I recommend The North Bend Bakery.

A large selection of sweet and savory baked items, as well as a sandwich menu. Prices were reasonable and everything was great, and the almond croissant was excellent!
