Ace Hardware

Easily my favorite place to shop for any type of household projects or DIY tik-tok life hack I may be getting into. The staff is beyond accommodating and always polite and thoughtful.

It took me a year to discover that North Bend has an Ace Hardware store! If you think that a trip here is just about wrenches and power drills, you're in for a big surprise. This store has something for everyone!
Ace has all the products you'd expect to find in a hardware store: tools, home improvement items, paint, etc. Other sections of the store include large selections of toys, pet products, crafting/sewing supplies, products for bird enthusiasts, storage solutions, gift items, greeting cards, and things of interest for those who enjoy hunting and fishing.
Masks are required, and the floor by the registers are clearly marked for 6-for 8 social distancing.

I have been visiting Ace Hardware few times over the past months. Their Staff have always been very knowledgeable and super friendly.

Recently I met a staff who was on his 1st day at work and he made sure all the Products that I was looking for are easily located.

This locally-owned store has been here for a long time. The young man that helped me today was as pleasant and helpful as they come. Appreciate it!

I was in town visiting my mother in law. She’s had a broken toilet roll holder for 3 years due to a set screw that wouldn’t fully seat. Christopher helped me find one that fit perfectly and the lovely cashier lady helped me get the payment sorted. A truly wonderful store. I’m not sure if it’s a regional thing or I’ve just been hardened by the big box stores but I left, absolutely amazed, by the experience. And I scored points with the MIL by fixing her issue. Highly recommend.

1) Cleanest bathroom I think I've ever seen in a business.
2) SUPER helpful upon walking in the store. Someone was standing by the door, saw I could use help locating things, asked me what I was looking for, and gave me the aisles to go find those things in, all from memory.

Ace Hardware is our local hardware store. And unlike home depot it does not carry everything but they certainly will happily order it for you. Friendly, knowledgeable people, and it's actually fun to go into. I strongly suggest you check the barbecue aisle which has everything your heart could desire from wood chips and chunks, to hot sauces and grilling accessories.

The crew here is very helpful and kind! I felt bad because we drove all the way from whidbey island on our way to a camping trip and realized I forgot my hiking shoes, we pulled into to the shop a minute before they were closing. I tried to make it quick so the staff wouldn’t be waiting on me but that’s when Demetrius came up and greeted us with a smile and told us to take our time so I could make sure I got the right size. He even got out the ladder (which took a while because it was moved) to look for my right size. He found my perfect fit and I had a great camping trip and I love these new shoes! The other gentleman who rung us up, I forgot his name was also very nice! Thank you so much for taking the time to help me, most places you go to before closing the folks get upset with you and try to kick you out but these guys were so cool about it, much appreciation!

Always very helpful in here! I really enjoy talking with the employees. And thank you for working Christmas Eve when I’m sure everyone would like to be home instead, especially in the icy weather. I’m sure you keep the community running sometimes!

Great staff and the only place I could find an emergency pickleball racquet in the county!

What a pleasant recent change to this North Bend store. Been shopping here for over 4 years and it really got bad for a while especially when the store was sold and new management took over. We lost a lot of friendly helpful old staff as a result. Suffered with the lack of happy or friendly staff or for that matter anyone willing.
Now .. Wow what a difference the last month . I am now greeted by the nicest guys willing to help me right when I walk in. I cannot say enough about the amazing customer service Trent gave me and wonderful attitude and smile in garden . I felt like I mattered as a customer again and some days this is the only Adult contact I have as my son still doing online school and hard for me to get most days.
The new Assistant Management Walter is also so friendly and helpful and accommodating.
I am so encouraged about this store as it supplies a lot of my every week needs for our home and garden here in North Bend. I was dreading going there before but now I’m so happy to see some of these new faces and some of the older staff that have stayed and weathered the changes.

Amazing local hardware store. Unless you're looking for a massive selection of grills, appliances or flowers - Ace is the place. I drop in 1-2 times per week and they almost always have that particular drill bit, screw or whatever you need to complete the project you're working on.

While visiting a friend in North Bend, WA, we were going to do some pellet shooting and discovered we needed pellets for his pellet rifle and I needed more pellets. Targets were also on the "to buy" list that day. So we ventured to the local Ace Hardware store. They had the caliber of pellets needed for my friends rifle (.177), but not mine (.22). We did, however, find the targets we needed. Unfortunately we were unable to do any shooting, but we did find everything we needed to do so. The employee that helped us was very pleasant, and she had a very positive attitude about seeing to our needs that day.

I am slightly bias as this is my local Hardware store.
I believe the store has everything you could want. If they don't have it. They try hard to get it.
The staff is very helpful and polite.
Most will take extended time to insure you are 100%satisfied.
The cashiers are friendly and thorough.
Overall from pet supplies to plumbing and even clothing why go elsewhere.

Great store for multiple items. Super variety of stuff. Much bigger inside than looks from the outside.
Has a little bit of everything from hardware to sporting goods, basic home goods and outdoor goods and gear.
Staff is courteous and helpful.

Love this place, I'm in here on a regular basis, they do have a pretty exceptional selections, the staff here is extremely knowledgeable and helpful oh, they are a bit pricier than some of the other hardware stores, but it's worth it for the knowledge and quality selection. On an interesting side note, Victoria number of food items which are not available anywhere else. If you happen to go into this Ace hardware, get yourself a bag of dots pretzels. They're a little pricey, but they are absolutely worth it.

What impressive variety of selections in what you would think was a little store in North Bend, WA, but good size store with a wide selection of quality goods. Cashier was pleasant and I was even asked twice while in the store for under 20 min if I needed help finding what I was looking for. Now that's Impressive I tell ya.

Absolutely wonderful experience here. Dan went above and beyond to help me, when I could not open an old paint can. Not only Dan helped me in transferring my paint to a new container, he helped me in finding some other items i wanted and then gave me a free tool to open paint can. Now on that is the place i will go to for any paint needs.

One of the best managed Ace stores - truly the helpful place. The staff are all friendly and willing to help you find anything. All the departments are very well stocked, and you can get anything from faucets and lumber to chicken feed and fishing gear

Makes things much easier to call ahead and make sure an item is there. Very helpful staff and very happy with my purchase. Worth the out of the way drive
