Residence Inn by Marriott Seattle South/Renton

It's a very decent residence inn, the staff at the reception is doing well, they gave us what we needed and were understanding.

The cleaning staff on the other hand, not so much. Maybe they are understaffed? Probably they are.
We stayed here for more than a month and once again had to request for cleaning after almost 2 weeks. They said they would come, they didn't. After complaining they sent someone and it was finally clean.

It's not only this residence inn that has this problem from my experience.
They came once on a Sunday night at 5:30 which is not best I find.

The breakfast area is ok, but very crowded.
They leave QR code every where so you can leave a tip, this is annoying.
I liked that they left the coffee all day.

The location is very good, the park on the other side of the street is amazing. It's not a dog friendly park since it's a bird park! So if you are planning on taking your dog to the Residence inn, don't take the dog to that park.

The place is clean, and it is worth staying here compared to other Marriott properties.

This property is wonderful! Very clean, newly built, helpful staff, and reasonably priced. Came up here from California for a quick weekend trip. Only drawback is that it's a long drive from downtown Seattle and there's tons of traffic going both ways.

Other than that, our stay at this RezInn was peaceful, relaxing, and well worth the money. Will definitely stay here again!

Great clean rooms. Great customer service at the reception. Thanks for getting us milk for our kids, the person who was manning the reception this AM. We would stay here again. $9 parking is my only gripe. They are trying to milk every $ out of you for profits.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights on a visit to our son in Renton. We stay at many hotels all over the world and this place really delivered on value and what we needed. It is clean, staff are friendly, rooms were good size, shower was good pressure, the coffee was good. I was especially impressed by the quality of the breakfast. Our son lives very close to the hotel so we will no doubt be staying here again in the near future. Please keep up the great work!

We've been staying at the Residence Inn for the last 7 1/2 weeks (due to work training) and have had nothing short of an incredible stay. The hotel is beautiful and clean. The room is stocked full of amenities and restocked as needed. The breakfast is good...but get's repetitive after awhile - but I guess that's what we get for being here so long!
But what I really wanted to highlight is the staff! I see they've had a lot of changes in the time that we've been here, however I want to highlight 4 specific women who continually go above and beyond. Since the day we got here, Suzy and Michelle have been a light! My daughters have become their biggest fans, and whenever we see them in, they're greeted with a huge hug from both of them. It has made our stay so much better! Mariell has been an incredible help, and is always willing to chat when I need someone to talk to. Caroline is an amazing person, and you can tell that she truly cares about her job.
Thank you Residence Inn - Renton team for making our LONG stay a little bit easier :) I hope we can keep in touch, because we will miss you when we leave in a few weeks!

Staff was extremely friendly. Kudos to the front desk/guest services agents who checked us in (both the 7-3 and 3-11 were present on 5/6 at almost exactly 3pm). Very friendly. The breakfast was good, the room was clean, and the manager who worked 7am-7pm on 5/7 was warm, friendly and funny. Only issue we had: we set the room to 68 upon arrival (thermostat read 72) and it only reached 69 by 7am. Might want to check the AC in 209, but I'm not gonna fault the team for that. Very nice hotel and the staff was top notch.

Catrina helped to make our stay very enjoyable. She brings her joy to work.

Great place to stay for short term. For the long stays, the things that we’ve noticed didn’t get fixed or cleaned. Great staff but short handed on the maintenance side

The room impressed me - the balcony in the king upgrade was absolutely lovely! If it wasn't pouring rain it would have been an amazing bonus for a night time drink. The real treat to me was the gluten free muffins, and individually packaged boiled eggs so I knew I was safe to eat something (celiac). Absolutely will stay here again.

Wonderful hotel suite. Staff extremely friendly and professional. Very helpful at all times. Everything very clean and updated. Housekeeping was perfect. Breakfast was phenomenal. Covered parking very reasonable. Definitely would stay here again. Nice having kitchen in the room.

This newer hotel is a 15-minutes to Seattle International and 20-minutes to Boeing Field. There are a few food options within walking distance but not much but the Boeing Plant is across the street.

The staff was kind and got us checked in quickly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean as well with a modern shower. The room was also very spacious with a full modern kitchen.

The hotel had a mask policy in place while in the hotel but could be removed while eating and drinking. All the the amenities were open during my stay.

Great staff, took wonderful care of my 87yo mother-in-law and her psycho chihuahua. Nice room/suite, beautiful lobby, ma-in-law couldn't stop talking about the "wonderful bed"! The $100 pet fee was well worth it (who has chihuahuas anyway???)

As I searched for a nice, centralized, week long accommodation with convenient access to restaurants and stores, I came across this location. Upon arrival, I received a nice upgrade and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room and space. There's ample work space with high speed internet, no issues. The staff was very attentive and welcoming. The room rate and parking access were great. After my first seven day stay experience, I will definitely stay here again.

This is a great hotel and it's just down the street from The Landing, which is filled with stores, restaurants and more.

Absolute fav hotel. Quiet, beautifully designed, great customer service. I love the setup of these suite/studios. It just seems so thoughtfully put together. Amazing bed, walk-in shower, large lit bordered mirror (great for AM/PM routine) and much more. If I HAD to have ANY cons it would be that the doors shut very loud and heavy (entering/exiting your room you'd easily wake someone inside but I'd only lightly hear a neighbors) 🤷‍♀

The grab-and-go breakfast due to COVID was not bad at all. Most of the common breakfast items you would except were available. Initially we have received a key to a room that was facing the parking lot, we later asked the front desk gentleman if he could give us a different room and he immediately changed it to a room with a better view to the street. I was a little disappointed that I had to pay for parking despite the distance from downtown. Otherwise, we enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend to stay there.
