Great service and food. I got the catfish filets and they were so delicious and fresh. The fried okra is really delicious as well.

We had great service and enjoyed the BBQ and catfish and shrimp. Lots of sides and hushpuppies! We had six in our group and our server did great on refills and nearly had to carry us to the car after eating so much. We enjoyed it all. Thanks!

Starts off with the best hush puppies I’ve ever had in my entire life. Then the fried catfish and bbq was delicious with the house BBQ sauce. Crispy fried okra. Def recommend.

Mud Creek BBQ restaurant been around for +50 years so they know what they are doing. Situated on the shores of Lake Guntersville in Hollywood AL Restaurant has a beautiful view of the lake and surrounding mountains.

Mud Creek has great Catfish and Bar-B-Q! Want to know how to tell if you are in a good Southern catfish restaurant? Do they offer hush-puppies and if so do they taste good. Yeah the folks at Mud Creek know how to make them hush-puppies. After the hostess seats you the server brings you a basket of hush-puppies as an appetizer while they take your drink order and let look over the menu.

Wife and I decided on the Combination Platers. She got catfish filets & chicken strips. I got whole catfish and shrimp. Shrimp, catfish & chicken were all fried to perfection. We both had baked potatoes which were baked to perfection, served piping hot, soft and fluffy all the way through. We tried their mustard based slaw & it was excellent. In past visits I've had their BBQ and it is also good.

Server staff was great, food was excellent, and our dining experience was very good. Will definitely be going back there to satisfy our catfish cravings. They are everything I look for in a good Southern Catfish restaurant.

Very good experience! My family has lived in the Deep South for generations, and I know very well what good catfish is, and it's easy to tell when someone doesn't know what they're doing. The folks here know exactly how catfish to be prepared and also make quality sites that are delicious and fill you up!

Fantastic flavorful southern food! Fresh meat, fish, and vegetables, all we had was delicious (we came as a family of 5). Friendly service, pretty interiors. Make sure you get there while it's light: the view of the lake from the window is so gorgeous! Iconic little place, best dinner after Unclaimed Baggage bash!

Generous portions, friendly people, and great food.

Came for late lunch with friends who had not been there in a long time. Service was great, they were very gracious even when we came close to closing time. Very accommodating didnt make us feel rushed. Food was soooooo good.

First time here. Found while searching on Google Maps. This place is awesome 👌. Great selection of items and very tasty. Catfish was flakey and lightly battered. You won't leave hungry. We'll be back. Just need some hours of Operation posted.

Food is always good! Neat atmosphere, fishing camp vibes. Wish they had outdoor seating. But always a good choice to grab quick dinner.

Mud Creek has the best Bar-B-Que ever. I love their Bar-B--Que plate. Anything you order from them you will not be disappointed. I have been eating here for over 20 years and never had anything bad from them. Give them a try.

Great BBQ, Great catfish, complimentary hush puppies. And homemade brownie with ice cream was delish, too. Friendly staff. Booths with views of the water. And we were able to dock our boat and walk up! Will be back!

These folks have it together. Very good comfort food, excellent service and reasonable prices. Servers all wearing masks and gloves, all condiments, etc individualized. We felt comfortable eating in and the value is unbeatable (as usual).

Mud Creek has the best fried catfish I’ve ever had. No one does it better. The barbecue is pretty good, too.
