Pogacha Restaurant

What a perfect dining experience! I’ve been going to Pogacha restaurants for years and I love that each location has a unique vibe, but you can count on an exceptional meal made with local, fresh ingredients. I was lucky enough to visit during March while the diver sea scallops were on the chef’s menu and wow, they were delicious! I got to peak at April’s menu and will for sure be returning for halibut, filet mignon salad. Highly recommend - fantastic food and service in a comfortable space.

So great! Classy comfort food and great service. Three of us had 4 appetizers, 1 pizza and 1 entree special. My favourite was the shrimp, the crab cakes, and the roasted goat cheese, but it was really all delicious. I really liked the bread too, a first for me

Delicious food, friendly staff! Good experience overall! Orange ginger shrimps pasta was amazing and unusual, my hubby had a Dijon chicken and it was also good one though.

Great, friendly service. Interesting flavors. The Dobar Chicken had a truly special flavor. The lasagna was delicious -- special comfort food elevated. Prices were quite reasonable

Great tasting bread and most of mine dishes we ordered. Mercer Island location worked for all of us. None of nine complained. Our server was top notch.

I've asked the waitress to recommend me some of their specialities, and she did her job perfectly! Food was really delicious. The Croatian bread does look like a pizza but it does not really taste like it, so it's worth trying. Great restaurant, friendly and helpful staff, super cozy setting. Recommended!

We tried the scooby pizza and the roasted Brussel sprouts with humus. Paired with their amazing bread that was the best thing we’ve tasted while on mercer island.

The restaurant welcomes you with a delicious hand made warm bread and butter, the ambiance is calming and the food is delicious, I totally recommend 🤩 I order chicken Dijon

My wife and I have always been a huge fan of Pogacha, having visited the various locations numerous times over the last 10 or so years. Unlike previous visits where we would generally stop in the evening for dinner or happy hour, we came in for lunch. We were pleased to see Brad, the owner, hard at work and running a tight ship as usual. After greeting us and having a short chat, his sever Sarah took our table.

The menu featured a wide variety of items, many of course you can read about here. However, we were intrigued by the special ‘Power Lunch’; the day’s high protein selection, which was seared Mediterranean tuna over a bed of arugula with balsamic vinaigrette. The dish also features homemade hummus, cherry tomatoes, feta cheese and of course the famous Pogacha bread. Simply stated, it was amazing and exactly what we were looking for. My wife and I always watch what we eat favoring high protein, low carb / low fat options and of course eating out can be a challenge. This dish was right on point, and superb!

This is a hidden gem that I can’t wait to return to!! We had the loveliest evening ever! The staff are amazing!! Kind, friendly, prompt, attentive! This is the place you come to with you family, an unpretentious, happy place, where you come and make more friends. We enjoyed the pasta, the pizza and portions were perfect sized. The food was so fresh and wholesome! They actually clean and fresh dog bowls and outdoor seating for those rare good days around here. I can’t wait to come back!

The service I received at Pogacha from a waiter who just recently started working there (Drew was his name, I believe?) was fantastic. Super attentive to our needs and very kind and conversant. What a great addition to the fabulous food to make for a memorable experience! Thanks so much!

I have never wrote a review on a restaurant in my life, and i never thought i would. I simply could not stop myself from making a review for the simple reason of how fabulous the spicy prawns are. This dish has the absolute most juicy and tasteful prawns, the sauce is made from heaven, with a perfect balance of creamy spicy and tangy. It isn’t too thick or too liquidy, it is perfect. The bread that comes with this is on par, if not better than the prawns though. The combination of the bread with the sauce is divine, This combo is better than bread and butter. The entire dish is amazing i would totally recommend this to anyone. YOU NEED TO GET SPICY PRAWNS! and the waitresses and waiters are really nice.

They are now Open and it's great to have them back. The menu is still great and the crew is fantastic as always, Welcome back we missed you.

Love love love this place. I have been coming here since 1995 before the current owner Brad purchased it. Have been through the birth and growing up of the son of the worlds best hostess Jen. We moved to denver for 10 years but still stopped by every time we were in town. We now live in everett so it is a trip but we still try to come every time we are in Bellevue. Love the pep gorg pogacha pizza and the dobar chicken. Also best ice tea in the PNW.

A simply wonderful dinner and experience at Pohacha. My friend and I had given up finding a place to eat close to 9:00pm (normal closing time for most restaurants on Mercer Island). Every other place would only do "to go". Pogacha welcomed us in (other's were enjoying drinks at the bar) and we had a wonderful sit down dinner. We shared the clams (heavenly) and he had the crab cakes and I had the pizza-both were excellent. The sauce for the clams was so good we dipped their fabulous bread in it. The wait staff and (I think owner) took great care of us including asking our names. My new favorite place on Mercer Island and so very happy they welcomed us in after 9:00!

Awesome place, great ambience in the evening with the doors open, and great service! We came here after a wedding proposal, and the staff were incredibly kind to us, and even brought a bowl out for my dog to drink water. Definitely recommend!

Great service! Erin is the best server I have ever had and I usually dine at 5 star restaurants. Make sure you ask to be seated in her section. You won’t regret it. The food is pretty good too!

I tried this place last night and I have to tell you there is rarely a restaurant that I will give a 5 star rating to, but these guys really deserve it. The food is incredibly tasty and they have this person that walks around and offers you their homemade bread made from an oven from Croatia. Also the staff is lovely and friendly and friendly and very attentive. You definitely do not want to miss this one.
