Holiday Inn Express & Suites Opelika Auburn, an IHG Hotel

I believe that this Hotel was recently renovated or it’s a brand new hotel it’s very very clean. The staff are very respectful. They have a hot breakfast. They have a good size pool (Outside) they have a nice fitness training room with free weights and treadmill’s. Computer and printer for guests it’s a great hotel. Hope this helps!!

Rooms have always been immaculately clean. I stay here passing through quite regularly and always know that my room will be clean, ready on time, and I’ll be greeted by a friendly front desk agent. Close to lots of food, some shopping, and shares a parking lot with the AMC.

Comfortable stay. Easy access to ball game. Only suggestion is a fire pit for large gatherings outside. Rooms were very clean and proximity to restaurants and stores is a major plus

The hotel as well as the room was nice. However, I entered the room really late and noticed at 3am that a dirty washcloth was hanging on the shower rod. That was greatly disappointing when I thought everything was perfect. It was entirely too late for me to complain to the front desk and didnt want to change rooms that time of morning.

Yes, it's 20 minutes from Auburn but it's near Target, Olive Garden, Longhorns and Old Navy plus an AMC nextdoor!
Fantastic hot breakfast buffet that's clean and filling.
My room was as expected. I'm good.
Let's not forget, it's also VERY quiet. Our previous stay, closer to campus brought us a ruckus.

Very clean, nice staff, VERY comfortable bedding and the shower products were Dove which was nice compared to the usual cheap stuff! Probably the nicest Holiday Inn I’ve ever stayed in! Noise levels were minimal to zero and there were plenty of outlets/lights in the room for whatever light setting you prefer. Would definitely recommend!

Probably one of the cleanest Holiday Inn's I've ever stayed in. From the parking lot. To the room. You can tell they care.

The staff make this place excellent. They asked me several times if they could replenish anything in my room. The breakfast area was pristine and the food was very enjoyable. The staff was friendly and I felt extremely safe at this location. Anything you need is 1 mile away. Tigertown had great places to eat and I was able to get my nails done.

When you have to depend on room availability because no family and friends have accommodations for you to rest, HIE&S are awesome. Although a little pricey, the attendant that night told me I could have a late check out since it was 2AM when I checked in. Had an 18hr drive back to TX so I needed a little rest. It worked out though.

You can never go wrong with a Holiday Inn. This hotel is in a pretty good location. Not far from Auburn University and the new Buc-ee’s. Wonderful staff. Has a outdoor pool, gym and a a few lounge areas with TV’s.

Great stay. Rooms were very clean and stocked. Housekeeping was a little slow. Pleasant helpful staff.

Stopped in for a night with my son! The front desk clerk was wonderful!!! He appeared to be very organized, courteous, and friendly! Our room was wonderful as well!!! The beds were fantastic! Absolutely love the sheets and pillows!!!

We stayed here while up from Panama City Beach visiting family. The staff was very friendly and polite. Our room was very clean with everything in order. The free breakfast was very well laid out and everything was great. The lady taking care of the breakfast are was very friendly and made sure everyone had what they needed. She kept the area very clean and well stocked.

Very clean. Very new. Bed was super. Staff was great - especially the desk manager Rex, he was very accommodating with some travel changes I had. I don't normally leave reviews, but because the staff was so good, that made me want to post one. I don't understand the negative review someone posted about breakfast - it was fine: biscuits & gravy, eggs, sausage, bacon, etc... Sure beats the cold cereal & bagel the last hotel I stayed in had for breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel.

If I had to complain about anything it would be how bright the bathroom light is, it's fine mid day but extremely bright in the am.

Besides that facility was clean, great breakfast at a good price.

The motel was very good. The front desk staff was exceptional. The only bad thing was we got back to the motel around 8:45 hoping to cool off in the pool only to find out it closed at 9:00. A 10:00 closing would be more appropriate. Otherwise it was a very good stay.

I checked in to HIE for work and from the time I arrived to the time I left I enjoyed my stay . The rooms a very basic for 100 + a night but it was clean and the front desk staff was welcoming and understanding. Great eateries around the area but that’s about it .

Check in was very easy possibly due to COVID-19 changes. Totally hands off. Very quick and easy. Beds were very comfy. Room was clean. Had receipt was under the door early. Very easy depart. Convenient location right off the highway. Lots of restaurant choices nearby. Friendly lady check in host. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Stayed here for 6 weeks on work related matters. Ease of access to interstate and surrounding stores.. Every room was super clean and really nice. Was always greated with a smile from all employees. Very helpful and informative staff, would stay again no doubt!!

The hotel seems a little older but well maintained, staff is friendly and non-intrusive. The free breakfast is standard affair but gets the job done and beds are comfortable. Really my only complaint is the internet provided is slow as molasses it took almost 2 days to download a 40 gb file which is nuts to me. It also keeps cutting in and out. Good place to rest but if you need internet where you stay go elesewhere.
