Mud Creek BBQ

Off the beaten path but well worth the venture off the main highway. The former Pure gas station has the charm and food you are looking for. The pulled pork and fried catfish are very good. More than enough food on the plate to satisfy the hungriest of diners. You can see why this place is in the Alabama Barbecue Hall of Fame.

Went for the very first time tonight, I was a bit skeptical because I had heard mixed reviews.. everything was very good. Our server was very friendly and the food was really good. I will be going back again.

I really love the Combo Platter! The grilled white fish with lemon pepper and grilled shrimp with homemade potato salad and fried okra is so good! Everything’s made fresh every day. Desserts are homemade and the salad is always fresh! Establishment is always clean and the service is always excellent! Me and my family come in 2/3 times a week!

We had a nice experience here. Dinner was tasty and atmosphere was NICE. We sat near window with view of mud creek.

Beautiful establishment right off of the water. Great service with a smile. Possibly the best catfish I've had. Seasoned, battered and fried to perfection. If you go you must try the yellow slaw.

Been eating their food since Leck McCarver was doing the cooking (1950s). Still melt in your mouth barbeque, and the best sauce anywhere.

Hubby & I had dinner at Mud Creek BBQ last night. It was delicious! Baked potato was hot & fresh, bbq great flavor, excellent service. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Hands down, the best whole catfish around. Hush puppies are to die for and top it off with a sweet tea...YUM!!

I go there for the catfish. Service was fine, just under staffed like most places!

Ate there for the first time today and was very happy with it. The pork plate was really good, but most of all, the BBQ sauce was incredible.

Food was fantastic, staff was very friendly and prices were good as well will definitely be coming back and bringing friends and family next time
