Michillinda Lodge

The rooms are quaint and cute. We didn't spend much time in the room. I don't remember seeing TV and on the weekend a hair dryer was in the locked office. BUT THE LOCATION!!! It's amazing! The Farmer's Market in Montague was adorable. The private deck was a favorite feature!

I took my kids to this majestic place. We played tennis, basketball, volleyball, disc golf and went swimming in the pool. So many fun things to do at the lodge. Also Duck lake and Michigan Adventure are located close by. The kids and I had a great time. We did have an issue with our room but the owner came right away to make sure everything was OK. She took really good care of us and made sure we were happy. Highly recommend. We will be back :)

Very nice lodging! Staff is beyond friendly! Rooms are furnished nicely! I'm staying in the Surfside building, it is directly on the water with beautiful views! Has lots of amenities, inc shuffleboard, horseshoes, disc golf, and a heated pool! My room has a mini fridge, microwave, toaster oven, and a 6 cup coffee pot! Only thing missing is a TV, but who needs that with all these wonderful outdoor activities!!!
Well beyond a wonderful resort!!!

If your looking for a great QUIET place to stay with friendly staff & great views look no farther... This small resort type lodge is wonderful. Many options of activities on site, very quiet, tranquil lodge, well maintained and all on the edge of lake Michigan. Only downfall, not for me but our kids is the wifi is spotty, But it is supposed to be a getaway so I don't really count that against the lodge. This place is truly a hidden gem. Keep of the great work!

Staff was super helpful and easy to contact when ever we needed anything! And the views of Lake Michigan and all the activities and beautifully decorated cabins made for an amazing getaway with the family! I definitely plan on staying here again in the future!!!

Very good place with beautiful scenery and lots of things to do in the area

My brother-in-law was married here!!! A beautiful venue by the water! Loved that the whole family spent the weekend together! There is so much for the kids to do, tennis, swimming, a play structure, bonfire! The manager Lea was very nice as well! Will definitely return!

It is a great place to get away! Love going there in just "off season" the prices are great and there is no better place to sit by Lake Michigan than there. There is no direct beach access, but that is fine...I just want to sit and listen to the waves, have the lake air blow in my face and watch the sunset. The rooms are spacious in the Surfside house. There is a coffee pot, and refrigerator in most rooms, some have a microwave and toaster oven as well. The rooms are excellently cleaned and well designed. During Covid it has been a contactless checkin and checkout. We have made two trips there so far and plan on going back to our little place by the lake.

Went to a family friends wedding during a heat wave. Gorgeous view during the ceremony over one of the greatest lakes.

Cabins were nice and private. Layed out really nice over the property.

Great place to stay. Right on the water. The sunsets were beautiful. They gave a lot of fun activities like swimming, basketball, volleyball, shuffleboard, tennis, corn hole. Also only 10 miles from Michigan Adventure.

The views from our room of Lake Michigan were amazing, and the grounds included many locations to enjoy nightly sunsets. We took advantage of the heated pool, numerous amenities like basketball, shuffle board, etc. The tree lined drive in to the resort is gorgeous. We will definitely be back.

this was one of the best places i have ever stayed in. amazing lake michigan views, loved the whole experience! if you are looking for a relaxing, calming and enjoyable experience, i very highly recommend spending your days here, i 10/10 loved my stay with family. the pool was very relaxing and perfect for relaxing in on hot days. lots of things to do seeping there lodge, from tennis to frisbee golf, along with much more exciting activity’s so you never get bored! great activities for all ages. there were a few very nice play structures for children to have endless fun with! this was definitely the best vacation i have ever booked, it was so welcoming and calming, very happy that we got this amazing opportunity to stay at such an amazing resort. will definitely come again!

Wonderful experience. We reserved a room two weeks in advance. They didn't have one room for the four consecutive nights so they arranged for us to be moved on night 2 so we could enjoy the rest of our stay there. The manager worked hard to accommodate our needs and was so pleasant! Down comforters in every room, new carpet, very clean, beautiful, quiet, serene setting. All staff was a pleasure. We will be back for sure!

Stayed 2 nights, lovely cottage! Very clean! Nice area very tidy grounds. We had our daughters graduation and saw stars on ice. Very pleased and would love to stay again!

What a great place to get away. I came here with a group of women on a retreat and was REALLY happy with the experience. The scenery was amazing and the atmosphere is relaxing and refreshing. There's no TVs in the rooms, so it really allowed for us to disconnect and recharge. Many of us didn't have phone service and the wifi was spotty, but that's exactly what we needed. There's lots to do here. Horseshoes, basketball, swimming (in a heated pool), disc golf, there's BBQ grills, a park for the kids, a sandox, fire pit (with built in seating) and a large picnic area. The rooms are cozy and are equipped with microwaves and mini fridges. All in all, a great experience. I plan on coming back with my family.

Absolutely love this place. Reminds me of a place I spent summers growing up. Pool, basketball, shuffle board. All kinds of things to do with my kids without plugging something in. Good people. Kind and they always treat us like family.

This place is amazing and so relaxing. Great for families with kids, romantic for couples and great for group of friends. There's a pool, play ground, tennis courts, basketball court, shuffle board… inside the chalet there's air hockey, ping pong table, a full kitchen...
The views are breathtaking.
Will definitely come back there and make it our family vacation spot.
And it look like it has been remodeled recently.

The fun of staying at a campground with pool/basketball/campfires but the cabins are like staying at a hotel with nice bedding, decor and clean bathrooms. The kids ran around outside all day having fun, no electronics! We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to go back

My husband and I had our wedding here June 2017 and could not have imagined or picked a better place to bring our friends and family! The ambiance is amazing-relaxed, fun and as many of our guests said, "adult camp" like. Lea at Michillinda was so gracious and helpful throughout our 9 months of planning. She made the wedding planning process seamless and not many vendors I'm sure would have provided that. Ryan and I can't wait to bring our future family back for a long week/end to relive our wedding weekend. Thank you Michillinda!
