My first time visiting; I really enjoyed this little park. There is an ice cream shop on-grounds, along with a little store, changing rooms, bathrooms, plenty of trash cans, and more picnic tables than I've ever seen at a park in my entire life. I would consider this park a perfect place for families, as there is a cute playground, and as I mentioned before, there are enough picnic tables really for any family that needs to use one (probably about 40 tables). The store sells food and beach items, and is extremely reasonably priced. The public beach is large enough for families to spread out, as is the swimming area. The sand does not have too many shells, where it would be uncomfortable to walk on. The water is clear and clean. A day-pass for parking is only $5, and parking is near to the beach. Plenty of shady areas and a couple of gazebos, as well. The only downsides are that no dogs are allowed on the beach, no alcohol, and you cannot build a fire. Unfortunately, that is common for most public beaches. Still quite a charming little lake park.

Went here for a small family party.
The park does charge $5/car for a parking day pass and $20 for a seasonal pass. The fee is well worth it. The park is very clean, including the bathrooms. They have a couple of wooden push carts to help you bring things like your cooler and chairs to the spot of your choice. They are very handy and work great as long as everyone remembers to return them as soon as they're done with them.
The lake was lovely on the day that we went. Many families were swinging and enjoying themselves too. There is a large beach area that allows everyone to have plenty of space, as well as a kids' playground. There is a store in the park as well. It has many useful items for purchase; like sunscreen, goggles, beach toys, etc. They also sell a variety of snacks including Hudsonville Ice Cream.
There are 3 or 4 pavilions you can rent for parties and such. They also have quite a few other uncovered spots with grills and picnic tables that you can use for free under the trees. We had a smaller party so we opted for that option.
Overall a very nice park to visit for a day of fun in the sun with the family.

Had a birthday party there. The Pavillion was clean, the ranger and workers were friendly, the garbage was emptied at least 2ce while we were there, the bathrooms clean. The play areas were age appropriate, the beach area was clean and marked off for swimmers.

My go to to bring my kids in the summer. Nice park friendly staff. Good swimming area. Plus a playground, picnic tables, grills. I like that there are separate changing rooms from the bathroom. Could be updated a little better lighting maybe. But I love the little store located in the center of the park it has just about anything you may possibly have forgotten if you plan to spend the day there!

My family LOVES the beach at Twin Lake Park! The park itself is clean, bathrooms clean, the little shop is a small cute little store with beach merch and ice cream (plus a variety of other foods, too!) The water always feels amazing which we love.

I loved laying in the sun with my friend's! Beautiful park, and water. I didn't check out the concession stand but I was told the prices are fair and the food is great. (Friends live just blocks from here) I'll visit again for sure!
Plus it was my first time in my new two piece! Wear the suit ladies and gentlemen. Don't worry about what others may think.

Nice beach, where you can walk out for a bit. You are able to launch jet skis and small boats You can also walk your dogs and let them play in the water.

A decent little lake, no slimey seaweed I'm between your toes when you walk in the water, and is shallow

Twin Lake Park is a hidden gem among Michigan's many gems. We took the kids and spent hours relaxingly watching them play in a huge area of low lake water. It was beautiful, restrooms clean, and the concession stand was open. Can't wait to go again!

Family friendly ❤ We traveled from out of state for a family camping trip and this is the 2nd year we have been able to enjoy this little gem. Only improvement, it's a personal preference I wish there was no smoking in the park. Restrooms always clean and the staff are friendly.

I work for a local Assisted living facility and one of my residents loves hot fudge sundaes. I am usually running behind so have to just swing under the golden arches for one.
Today I left for work early and stopped at Twin Lake Park for the real deal. When I told the girls who it was for, they took care to make it extra special. My resident was so tickled over that sundae, it completely made her day!
Thank you, ladies, for your help!!

Always clean, with a friendly and helpful staff. Very well maintained and with resonably priced parking. It's a great place to bring the family for a cookout and a day at the beach, with tennis courts and a nice playground. The Park Store has an enormous and delicious ice cream selection as well as a large menu of reasonably priced meals and appetizers. They also stock just about anything you might need for the beach or a cookout in case you forget something at home.
