I recently purchased a lovely, vintage cabinet from Ugly Duckling. Kathleen, the owner of the cute shop, was very friendly and helpful. She answered all of my questions thoroughly and made sure I was completely satisfied and happy with my purchase. I will definitely be stopping in to check out the new treasures! Kathleen is welcoming - her shop is adorable and the items she carries made by local artists including herself are so unique - any one of them would be a lovely addition to your home . I brought home a surprise gift for hubby today from her shop😊 can't wait to give it to him!

This place has lots of beautiful furniture and home decorations to choose from, but my favorite things to buy from there are the Flannel Candle Co. items, because the ingredients are safe and natural. I wish this place would be open more frequently, because that’s how much I enjoy coming to this place.

Husband and I drove around New Lenox, Frankfort, And Mokena shopping at antique/resale shops. Stopped by The Ugly Ducking at 11:25am and it was closed even though the website said it was open. It looks like there a lot of cute items and I only wish it had been open.

Terrible experience with a inexperienced owner of a business ,I asked a question regarding a item that was $179.00. And the item in question was on face book ,was never answered ,After I discovered it was I was contacting a store .I rephrased my statement by saying I would pick it up the next day .The question thinking it was from a Facebook person was ,can I have your bottom line price .Never got any reply ..This so called business woman , went and sold the item .I called her on it and this professional said she “ had a assumption that I wanted a deal” well guess what I would have paid full price .it was a gift for my wife ..So be wear ...she assumes things that arnt true.
