The Lake House on Pistakee

The Lake House on Pistakee has hands down one of the best steak sandwiches around. It is always cooked to perfection and has a great taste. The menu continues to improve year after year. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. During the summer there is a great deck and bar outside with live music on the weekends. Definitely a worthwhile stop on the chain!

Great views of Fox Lake. Food was good. The bathrooms where clean. I had the berry salad with chicken. It really is about the view.

The best of the best I think they just changed the chef since the food is improving too much, I will be back with my whole family, the wrap was delicious

Easily one of our favorite spots on the chain. Service is always friendly, food is good, and the vibe is always peaceful and laid back. Love that we can get there on the boat or golf carts!

We went by boat, and had our pup with (outside dinning) and they brought fresh water out for him. Relaxing place.

It's right on the water, people dock their boats and jet skis on the dock. The atmosphere is great and laid back, you can tell people like being there. Good food and service.

The menu is a lap dance for the taste buds and the drinks are an orgasm for the liver. The whole CREW is awesome plus who the heck doesn’t like to be by the water too.

Great Northern woods feel inside. Foods on the up n up. Fish fry if great boiled or fried. Owners are great and friendly. A Mai-Tia in a souvenirs cup on a hot summer day makes the world go round. Keep up the great work. CAN NOT WAIT for another wonderful boating season with Y'all! Another great year just started yesterday.

Wow, for what seems to be a party place on the chain, the food here was top notch! The special was a chicken parm sandwich, that was not only massive, but tasty as all get out! The menu wasn't what I expected at all, with higher end dishes that all sounded great. I don't know if it was because we stopped on New Years Eve, or if it's a regular on their menu, but a couple a few seats down from us got oysters on the half shell that he couldn't say enough good about as well! I was really impressed by everything here in a casual, relaxed atmosphere.

I've been here a handful of times and was surprised to see the low reviews on Yelp. The Friday fish fry is one of the best I've had. Location is right on the water and in the summer they have live music.

This is a great place to visit, especially for boaters, as it has docks. It also has a large outdoor area. The food is very good. I've been twice and tried something different each time and my friends have all liked their orders. This is one of those places where it's worth it to just work your way through the menu. The staff is very friendly and efficient. This place is popular, so it does draw a crowd.

I had never been here before. We were boating and stopped in for dinner. Everything from the decor, seating indoors and out and the staff were very pleasant. Food was absolutely delicious. This place should be jam packed 24/7.

Went there for the Friday fish fry which was very good. Chose the potatoes pancake as my side... AWESOME! A little disappointed in the coleslaw because tasted more like sauerkraut. It was great experience eating outside and enjoying the view of the lake, made even better by our very friendly and funny waiter.

Great food and good atmosphere. We stop for food on the boat and typically not a long wait. Swing set etc for kids which is a plus if you have younger kids. Haven’t been there while they have entertainment.

First things first, the food was excellent but it took 2 hours to get our food. However what inspired me to leave this review is that Brin our waitress was absolutely amazing. She not only was working her tail off maintaining multiple tables while short staffed but she was attentive and kind. She read our minds and made sure that we were happy with our meal at every step even though it took 2 hours. I was so impressed by her that I will be going back again. Thanks again Brin!

Love the hospitality and the food. Great service, awesome salmon and burgers. Try the Italian Beef eggrolls. We come here all year around driving40 miles just for the atmosphere, lake views, and excellent food.

We stoppedvhere fir a few cocktails after dinning at a fancier restaurant. To our supprise the food looked and smelled better st The Lakehouse than at the fancy restaurant we had just come from. The drinks were a fair price snd NOT watered-down. The atmosphere was lively with great music and a relaxing atmosphere! We are planning on hoing back next weekend to try the food and will update my review at that time. Stop by here, you will thank me later!
