I have known and used Kokkay Mun for over 15 years. First of all, he has become a friend and is a great person. He has changed my overall strength and conditioning, and improved the quality of my workouts. He is very good at customizing the approach for each client and their needs. Every workout is different - He is creative and uses all of the equipment at the gym. We always do different things. I would recommend him to anyone.

Norma M. has been my Trainer for years. She’s absolutely fantastic - a perfect match for me. I was largely unfamiliar with weight training - machines and exercises. She has taught me significantly. My sessions with Norma are impactful and challenging. She’s in tune with her clients; very thoughtful. I am much stronger now, thanks to her. Plus, she’s a great person. A true professional and gem!

I want to share my experience with Mark Levine and Norma. I train with both of them and they are superb. Both are client centric and they really customize your workout to what best works for you, not just some routine session. Plus, while working out isn’t always the most fun, they have the right personalities to make it more enjoyable. While I used to be happy to avoid a session, now I look forward to it. And that is solely because of Norma and Mark.

I have been a member of Midtown for 20 years, utilizing mostly the exercise and personal training services. The equipment, work out spaces, and locker rooms at Midtown are state of the art, and its aesthetics and cleanliness can’t be beat.

I can’t speak highly enough about my trainer Mark Levine. He has a tremendous amount of experience and is certified in many different training and skills. I train with him 3 days/week: lower body; core; upper body.

Mark is a fantastic trainer! He takes to time to put together a planned regimen of exercises to tone and strengthen various muscle groups, but changes it up to keep the variety interesting. He asks before every session about my mental space and my physical well being, so that we can have a productive session in accordance to what works best for that day. And he is a GREAT coach and makes the training experience fun. He motivates me to always push my envelope of strength and stamina a litter further to continue to make progress. I’ve had several injuries in my life tho, that will never fully heal, and Mark is flexible and vigilant to ease off or modify training as needed.

Knowledgeable, fun, motivational, upbeat, flexible, in tune with his clients—Mark is terrific!

I’m so glad I’m a member of Midtown. Wouldn’t ever think of joining elsewhere.

My experience at Midtown has been very good and my experience with Rich Davis as my trainer has been fantastic! He is attentive to details and has made my return to the gym, after multiple surgeries, a complete success. Rich took his time to understand my concerns and tailored my training sessions accordingly. Rich makes my experience at the gym enjoyable. He teaches me good techniques, pushes me to work hard and makes me laugh. Rich Davis has made my return to Midtown Athletic Club a success!

Rich Davis is a great trainer/coach! He understood my needs as a client and created a workout plan accordingly. Not only did Rich focus on strength building, but also functional movements and mobility. Rich helped me build confidence in my movements and feel strong returning to preseason as a collegiate athlete. 10/10 would recommend!

Cora is an outstanding trainer! She has helped me develop strength, better balance and overall flexibility through Pilates instruction. My body is forever indebted to her and I strongly recommend her for training.

I also train with Mark Levine. Mark is certified in stretching and he has been instrumental in helping me improve balance and flexibility; he is knowledgeable and easy to work with. I highly recommend him.

I have been working with Norma M. generally 4 times a week since the summer of 2022. Working out is definitely NOT my thing but I am able to sustain because of Norma. She's been helping and supporting me with building healthy habits and tailoring workout plans based on my needs and conditions. The best part of the training is that the time flies by (rather than constantly looking at time thinking when is it over)- And I see positive results!
Lastly - Midtown is the most flexible and user friendly gym I've ever been to. My kids love it - pool, kidstown, cafe, and tennis!

I’ve worked out with Rich Davis for a little over a year and by far, his best quality is his consistently well planned work outs that push me and keep me coming back for more. Rich has an excellent ability to identify weaknesses and problem areas based on my movement patterns and target them effectively in ways I wouldn’t even know how to do without him showing me and explaining why. Rich has an easy going, professional, and humorous approach to fitness. I always feel better after working out with him!

Rich is a wonderful personal trainer. He trained me for several years ensuring work outs were the right level of challenge, motivating, and fun. He always listened, gave great fitness advice, and provided work outs to do solo between training sessions. He truly cared about my fitness. We moved to the east coast and sadly had to say goodbye. Rich Davis trained my son, Jacob, during much of his high school career. I watched his self confidence grow as he gained physical strength. Rich took a holistic approach to training that included much more than weights at the gym. Rich is an outstanding trainer and I would highly recommend him!

My trainer Rich Rossi has worked with me for over 10 years and he has strengthened every part of my body. Because of all the right exercised he gave me I was well prepared for quick recoveries after 2 hip replacements within 10 years. After each surgery he worked with me and got me back to amazing shape. My physical therapists for both surgeries discharged me early because Rich was giving me similar or the same exercises and I no longer needed the therapy. Rich seems to know exactly what areas I need to strengthen and how how to get me there. Any aches and pains are managed/ solved with him. Rich is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and at the same time personal and kind. Best trainer I ever had!

I love midtown. Not only the excellent facilities but the two coaches I work with. Mark Levine is my personal trainer. I have arthritic joints and Mark works with those issues by tailoring a workout to prevent pain or further injury. The workouts are varied and meet my goals of maintaining flexibility and getting stronger. I also have worked with tennis pro Sam Arnold for many years. He is brilliant and creative. He taught me a two handed forehand, how to serve properly and all aspects of the game. Mark and Sam are reasons to join Midtown or if already a member, schedule lessons/ training sessions with them.

Well appointed, clean, friendly, athletic club with a country club vibe. The staff, instructors and trainers are highly skilled and really care about the members. For several years, I have been training with Richard Davis, one of the personal trainers at mid town. My training goals have changed over time and he has always helped me stay focused and has provided a supportive framework of education and motivation for reaching the goals I have set. Having been a member at many Fitness clubs around the world for the past 25 years, I have felt the most comfortable here at Midtown Bannocburn for the past 6 years.

From the warm and caring staff at the entrance to the trainers, and instructors. Mark Levine has been a personal trainer and a fitness colleague of mine who I see take the time to meet each member and make them feel valued. Mark Levine has been a personal trainer, class instructor and has other leadership roles for 13 years at Midtown. I am thankful for Mark who helps makes Midtown a wonderful space to maintain fitness goals each day.

Mark inspires me to keep learning and acquiring knowledge about fitness and health these past 6 years. He speaks to me almost daily about new exercises he is learning, a new approach to strength or injury prevention he has learned. He often stops to show me something new or notices an approach I could challenge . I am thankful for his enthusiasm and encouragement.

I enjoy hearing how instructors and trainers at Midtown attend seminars and share the newest ideas with our fitness community. I see Mark and the other trainers caring and supporting each others classes and sessions.

I always find Mark in sincere and caring conversations with members in between clients. Thank you Mark for being an enormous part of making Midtown my favorite place to be.

Rich Rossi is an amazing trainer. Not only does he have the most compassionate and approachable disposition, he is beyond knowledgeable about the body and can tailor any workout for your personal wellness goals. At Midtown I worked with the personal trainer Mark Levine. He came up with a customized program which was well suited to my needs. I grew up going to Midtown. When I was in high school, I trained with Richard Davis, and my time with Rich was invaluable. I was a gymnast at the time, and he took that into account when formulating workout plans to help me become as strong and healthy as possible. And I saw real results. But perhaps even better, Rich taught me how to do strength training the right way, and what I learned from Rich gave me a great foundation that I continue to build upon today. As I look back on my training sessions, I’m grateful for the excellent direction that Rich provided for me and would recommend Rich to anyone seeking to be as healthy and fit as they can be—and to have fun along the way!
