I've honestly never met this guy, but last night I received a letter in the mail stating I had been terminated from their services after I fired Dr. Shane for his gross incompetent's and negligence on my behalf. Since he's speaking on behalf of "dr" stephen shane and representing the interest of his doctor and staff in the name of "safety" though...I'm deeply concerned that not behaving like a "professional patient" ..means that he supports assault and battery of patients? Any responsible leader or manager would look into "why"? The good news is that when I reported the crime to the local police, they stated it was not their jurisdiction and they gave me the number to state and federal authorities. Don't waste your time calling corporate or bosses, they make up excuses or never respond to your request or pleas for help, or they will respond with a lame....we are so sorry, please call us at their generic number and when I called it on two separate occasions they had no idea what I was talking about...If you are a VET or have PTSD..I could not recommend them whatsoever...In my experience, I found them to be ill equipped to be able to speak with me in a calm reasonable manner. They demonstrated poor record keeping skills which is vital to my recovery. I reported passing out due to pain for 3 months and dr shane never recorded it in any records I could find. DR PIERS states in his letter that when I find a doctor they will send my incomplete records to the doctor of my choosing...but again I wonder if they have failed to send me my records, or failed to send certain records to the federal gov't on my behalf...without knowing the problems Shawn Piers has made a promise he doesn't even know if he can keep...I'm still waiting shawn were are my current records I requested on Nov 22? I would call up SCAN STAT, but your careless staff failed to write down the complete contact number? So now what shawn? See mistake after mistake...dr shane and osf proved to be very toxic on my behalf...Ask yourself if you're willing to risk your families loved ones with an experience such as mine? I was a big fan of OSF until something went wrong and they refused to acknowledge or help in the brain damage they gave me, my continued black outs for hours or days at a time...losing unprecedented weight...I was a 48' waist in Jan of 2022 and today I am a 34" waist....So I guess we both fired each other the only difference is I was a 20 minute conversation or a sterile insensitive letter to them...however my life is still in jeopardy, I'm scarred for life and am currently in a state of fight or flight. Good riddance...For what it's worth though...I do highly recommend their Emergency Room as they saved my life twice due to others at OSF. Good luck and hope this helps.
