Kyle was super helpful! I didn't even know they did boot repair. I have a pair of ariats that I literally walked the souls off of but couldn't come to part ways with them and Kyle went above and beyond to help out. Very reasonable price for the amount of work that he has to do to them. When I go to pick those up I'll actually probably be walking out with another pair of new ones.

Update.... Just picked up my boots that were beyond repair in my eyes. Not only were they done way faster than promised but he did an awesome job! Not a lot of craftsman around anymore that can pull off what Kyle did! I'm definitely a loyal customer for life! THANK YOU KYLE!

This place is great! Tim was fantastic and took the time to work with me on a pair of boots I bought that weren't working for me when he didn't have to. He measured my feet using the 3D mapping and pressure tool to give me the best fitting boot and insert possible. They earned a lifetime customer today. Thanks, Tim!

i called ahead and explained my situation how I would most likely just be looking to get my feet scanned because I had a special stipulation on the type of boot I needed to buy for work. i was told that they can help me out with a scan of my feet

I came in with the intention that I'd buy a pair of boots if something was there for me. i came in and Jim took care of me. good guy, didn't mind helping me. he helped me pinpoint what I'd been doing wrong with my shoe purchasing habits with the scan he let me do on their machine. in the end, because of the stipulation I needed on my work boot, paired with my feets needs, there wasn't a pair there for me.

i appreciate that he was willing to put me as a customer first and my money second. there were no boots there for my specific needs and he was up front about it. I think this equates to stellar customer service / business ethics. if I ever have any needs that this store can fulfill I will come back. i didn't buy anything but the way I got taken care of is enough for me to spread the word about the place. definitely stop in if you're thinking about it

Tim at Red Wing in New Lenox was extremely helpful and patient with me. He knew what I was looking for and allowed me try on a bunch of pairs until I found the right one. He was also helpful in describing to me what steps I need to take to care for my boots. Definitely going to be a return customer!

Great place. The salesman was a pro. 3D hraphed my feet then tested how much pressure is on what spots on the bottoms of my feet. This testing took seconds. Then the insoles were fitted based off the pressure test. Place was spotless and parking was good. I have a perfect fitting pair of boots now. After trying the blue collar store which was a disaster... this place was worth the drive. Ill be back for my next pair!

Walked in and the two gentleman greeted me respectfully and professionally. I have bought boots from there before. The gentleman looked up my receipt from the last time I bought from there and brought me a pair of boots that fit perfectly. I paid the gentleman and that was it.

Recently I visited Red Wing in NewLenox on a Saturday afternoon to buy the Copper Blacksmiths 3343 boots. My first Red Wing purchase. They did not have this boot in my size but both Vincent and Kyle were very helpful and professional in helping me get the right size by letting me try on boots made from the same last as the Blacksmith. They ordered me a pair of the Blacksmiths in my correct size to be shipped to my house. After placing the order and coming home, I had some questions related to pricing so I emailed Aimee their store manager. By Monday morning, Aimee called me and responded to my concerns very professionally and courteously. She resolved my concerns to my complete satisfaction. I was impressed as to how responsive she was to satisfying a new customer. We had a brief but informative conversation where she provided boot care tips for my new Blacksmiths. Thank you Aimee, Vincent and Kyle. Excellent service and customer care.

My husband & I visited this store in hopes of finding a pair of black boots for him. Aimee greeted us immediately as we noticed a the ones with the look he wanted. Aimee mentioned that they had been discontinued but searched their database to see if any other stores carried them still. Sadly they were sold out, so without skipping a beat Aimee started to ask why he liked the boot and found an alternate style that was available via special order. She was very helpful. She even wrote down the style numbers of two styles of boot (both were fairly similar except for price and where constructed), so when we are ready to order them we can call it in.

She even helped me look for boots and sized me to be sure that I would order the correct size when ready. Luckily, the style I liked is available via special order easily.

I highly recommend going to this store, if you are looking for any kind of boot. I'm sure you will find what you are looking for...no matter the type or style.

Had a pretty good experience there. Went in to scope out what boots to buy for work and was greeted by friendly staff who offered their own suggestions. Store is a little small and can be missed if you aren't looking for it while driving.

Today was my first time purchasing a pair of Red Wings. Tim made the whole shopping experience pleasant. He made his recommendation based on my profession and what I was looking for but upon browsing I found a nice pair of 6672 hiking boots with a safety toe. Perfect! He also recommended a pair of insoles based on what the fitment stepper thing said. I must say between the shoe and the insole I couldn’t be happier. I don’t really care about the price as I knew going in they weren’t going to be cheap but if I can 5 or more years out of these I’ll be happy. The only thing I don’t like is that they’re made in China but at this point I’m tired of my heels and back hurting so beggars can’t be choosers. Thanks Tim for your help.
