Best haircut I've had in years! She took the time and care to cut each curl individually. My hair has so much shape and volume now. She knew exactly the right cut to bring out the best in my curls.

Spiral Salon has been my go to hair salon for years now. I make the commute from Metro Detroit to get amazing haircuts from Melanie because they’re so good and affordable. I did try to find someone more local and ended up with uneven hair because of my curl pattern. Melanie is a delight to chat with and is very knowledgeable about different curl types and products.

I’ve been going to Mel for close to 20 years (can that be?) and would follow her anywhere. I get a lot of compliments on my hair and will always credit her for that. She understands curly hair and keeps up with the latest products and trends. She’s built a fantastic business.

Melanie is wonderful! Cannot recommend her enough for anyone with curly hair.

Please note! It can be hard to find if you've never been before. The property looks like it's just a farmhouse. If you drive up the driveway around the back of the house, there is a small barn building with French doors. This is the salon 😊

The owner Mel is great, she cuts my hair better than anybody else I've tried, she only cuts curly hair.
