Grass Lake Park

Love the small country atmosphere...very clean and just a great place to take the kids or a quiet place to read a book which ever you prefer!!!

This is a great park, with a play ground, and a swimming area. On the 4th it is the end of the Grass Lake parade. They also do a chicken roast, and card board boat races. Yeah all at the same time.

I absolutely love this park. It's nice and relaxing on the water. We have had a few family reunions held here under the Pavillion. They have a swimming area, playground, and tennis court. The restroom facilities could use to be a bit cleaner as there is a lot of spider webs everywhere. The only other thing I have noticed is they need some stairs and a ramp for the handicap to be able to better get to the Pavillion and swimming area. There is a decent hill to maneuver down and we have to help our elderly family members down the hill with walkers and wheelchairs get to the reunion.

We were there to watch the powerboat races. What a great time and great view of the course from the park.

Love that my dog Doniboy can just walk out into the water from the boat launch cause he is an 15 year n a half old dog.

Awesome sunsets, hidden gem of a park. Very clean, up to date toys , courts and grilles . A very nice area all around.

Nice park. Very large. Has a play area, restrooms and a nice breeze coming off of the lake.
4th of July activities were well structured and a whole lot of fun!

They have a playground for kids and plenty of picnic tables.

Always have a Fantastic Times at such a beautiful park. The layout is very set back and Family oriented. From boat launch to kids play ground area to even fishing right off the shore....... it's enjoyed by ALL.

Playground equipment for little ones, but be aware that the park is right next to Grass Lake. It's not a spot where you can just let tiny kids run free. The best age group for this park is ages 4 or 5 and older based on the height of some parts of the structure. (for really little kids, there is a play structure near the Township Office). Tennis courts are also available for a bit of recreation and there has been a Pickle Ball group meeting regularly in the past few years. As for the lake, Grass Lake offers decent swimming and is quite shallow and sandy near the park. Reassuring for parents of kids who are just getting comfortable in the water. The water is also warmer due to the shallow lake, but can feel a little gross as the summer wears on. We have lived near the lake for 16 years and have enjoyed kayaking, rowing, swimming, ice fishing, skiing, and skating.

Hubby took Boat out to try some fishing n I tagged along. Beautiful views!

Great park. Its big enough to not be right on top of other people. Plenty of trees for shade and also restrooms.
Swimming areas are really sandy and clean, great family park to pack a lunch and spend half a day.

Beautiful stop on our way up to Jackson. Brilliant day, early morning, boats we're just pulling out to the lake. Their is a public access. Very calm and peaceful place.

Quiet little park faces west for Beautiful sunsets!!

Beautiful little park with the historic Whistlestop Station on the grounds. Might not mean as much to someone not from Grass Lake, but it's a peaceful park with a nice gazebo to sit in, good for wasting an afternoon talking to friends at.

I grew up in Grass Lake, spending in total about a decade there and it is truly a beautiful little town. Grass Lake is right down I-94 between Ann Arbor, and Jackson, and its bordered by amazing State land , and MANY fresh bodies of water for recreation. Grass Lake park is tucked away towards the back end of town, butted up to the Lake.
