906 CAFE

Driving past here on a day of waterfall adventures, we needed some food. This place was open and I decided to give it a shot. I love small local places! The special was a turkey dill wrap, so I decided to give it a try. My just and the roast beef philly. We got our food to go since our dogs were with us.

My wrap was huge and very tasty. I really liked that the lettuce and tomatoes were cut up so that I didn't pull them out with bites.

My husbands Philly hoagie smelled amazing and he said it tasted great too.

The waitress who took our order was very friendly and kind, and also helpful when I told her we had never been there.

I do have some advice, in case the owner reads this. The outside of your place needs work. It almost looks closed when you drive by. I would spruce up the building outside and add some flags, and made a swinging sign. Some banner flags, something to grab your attention, because nwe almost missed it, and I am glad we didn't.

2021 - There's nothing special about this special! $9.00 Eggs Benedict with NO hash browns?!? Other than that the service was prompt and friendly as usual!

2019 - Nice little local diner, good food for cheap!

Perfect place for lunch; our service was fast and professional, and it's a lovely little gem with solid burgers, and soul warming chilli. It's a cozy and classic diner. I was happy to see them taking carry out orders, and giving the true hometown experience.

Best shrimp & deep friend cod & crab cakes I have ever had! Such a treat!

Wonderful, great food and great service. Our daughter has celiacs and they were able to accommodate to make sure she was safe. We really appreciate this place and recommend it!

What can I say, this restaurant is awesome. Everytime we travel to the U P of Michigan, we always stop at the 906 Cafe. Great staff, great food, and great service.

First time ordering and we will be back! Had Fish fry which was cooked to perfection and authentic Beer Battered. Husband had the fried chicken it was crunchy on the out side and moist on the inside, he highly recommends!

Their pancakes were SO good!!
We had a party of 4. We all ordered something different and were all very happy with our meals. Would definitely go back!! Especially for the pancakes!

Stopped in for breakfast with a group of 6. We tried omelets cakes skillets and biscuits and gravy all were very good. Love the small town feeling the cafe had. Worth the stop.

Very relaxing and comforting diner, Our server was so kind, and heart warming with advice and great service. The food was 100% Amazing, everything cooked perfectly and compared to big name diners I prefer this one over them all example(Perkins) this place is amazing! I 100% Recomend the green apple boba tea as well!

Omg 100/10 if I could amazing food great staff and awesome waitress(Shalina G) was amazing explained everything to us. Everything was perfectly cooked. Definitely will come again! “I’m really hungry” platter was amazing cooked to perfection. “Smokehouse skillet” is pure gold!

Good breakfast on a Saturday morning. Very busy but got waited on quickly. Food came out fast and the place was filled. The best Biscuits & Gravy anywhere. Lots of sausage in the grave. Friendly and good prices.

Gun Powder burger is excellent. Chef salad is huge. Philly is great! Awesome small town family owned business! Buy local!

Great breakfast joint, always good food and prompt service. Location is great in Wakefield right on highway 2 and the snowmobile/ATV trail. I had the smoked sausage skillet and it was a healthy portion and quite tasty, You won't leave hungry!

Great food! Friendly, fast service! Incredibly clean! Be sure to stop if you're ever in the area. We found it by accident but will definitely stop the next time.

Good down home meals and large portions. Servers are friendly and so are the locals. If you're staying in the area, this is definitely the place for breakfast.

As always had an AMAZING breakfast this morning!! Biscuits and gravy are the best in the area! My ham and mushroom omelette was done to perfection! Go in and check out this amazing little diner with amazing food!!!

The smoked sausage skillet was amazing! Great flavor and the sausage was killer. Great prices and the decor is super cute.

Great food and very nice service, honestly better than when it was Ma’s. Coffee is definitely better too.
Will definitely be back again. Just hope the locals support their local business!
