Bantam Grill

The Bantam Grill is hands down one of the best (if not the best) restaurant that I’ve been to in New Hampshire! This cozy, unassuming Italian/American eatery feels like the perfect combination of upscale restaurant and local pub, with extremely polite and friendly waitstaff, as well as a bartender who should be working in NYC at an upscale cocktail lounge, because the two drinks that we had were unlike anything my palette had ever tasted before. The buffalo cauliflower appetizer almost had me fooled it was a vegetable, and the house-made raviolis melted in my mouth so well I swore I was in Italy. I will definitely be recommending the Bantam Grill to anyone looking for food in the Southern NH area, never mind Petersborough, this place is worth the TRIP!

Went to Bantam Grill on 2/13/24 for an early Valentines Day. The food and drinks were exceptional. Great Atmosphere cozy and quiet.
Started off with Bacon Fat Roasted Brussels Sprouts
Hubby had Grass-Fed Spicy Hawaiian Burger
I had Smoky Chicken & Bacon Carbonara
Drinks we had the Smoky Grapefruit Margarita and Mai Tai

We had an absolutely excellent experience at the Bantam grill. All of the food was perfectly prepared and extremely well priced. The watermelon margarita was absolutely delicious. I would recommend every dish that we had, and could not fault any of them.

The service was brilliant, and our server Rachel was extremely kind and helpful.

Truly a 5 star experience.

A real restaurant in a strip mall! How nice to find a place with good food and a nice atmosphere. Prices are reasonable. It has a nice bar and thankfully no television sets vying for attention. It is the kind of place where you can have a meal and have a conversation.

Everything about my experience was EXCELLENT!! The food was so so so good and the service was great, waitress was very friendly! Highly recommend the buffalo cauliflower!

Loved it, so delicious! We're new to town and really enjoyed our whole experience here. If you're looking for great handmade cocktails, delicious cuisine and friendly service this is definitely your spot. We'll be back soon!

Food was good. Service was excellent. Prices were moderate. The restaurant was pretty full, so it was a little noisy. We enjoyed our meal and would come back again for a nice casual dinner

A gem of Peterborough. I've been coming here for a few years now, since moving to the area, and am always pleased with everything. Their bartenders embrace creativity and seasonal concoctions. I can request odd drinks and know they'll make it delicious. I appreciate the specials and the seasonal menu changes. Everything is delicious, so try mixing it up. Friendly service and a cozy ambiance.

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner with my daughter and an old friend. The ribeye was perfect. My daughter loved her shrimp dish. Dessert was wonderful. Jenn our server was fabulous. As a staff member at another Peterborough restaurant, I was so happy to see Bantam busy and successful and continuing to be a source of pride for the Monadnock area. Way to go!

I ordered the bantam burger and it was gone before I could even think to grab my phone. Paired with a Woodford rye old fashioned and the company of friends, I don't think any of us managed to get a food pic we were so enthralled with the smells coming from our plates we had to just dig in! I can't wait to go back, there's easily a handful more options on the menu I need to try. My boyfriend had the other burger (I forgetthe name but it had pineapple, which he's not a fan of, but paired with soprasata he loved it!). Our friend had the same pineapple burger (no pineapple.. no sense of adventure!) And the raviolis which smelled fantastic!

The customers are a friendly lot is well and it's easy to strike up a conversation with a stranger.

The drink that appears in my photograph is a Bloody Mary garnished with scallop wrapped in bacon salami pepper stuffed olive & pickle.

Just had the most amazing Eggplant Parmigiana tonight! The appetizer special of shrimp and pork bellies was delicious and of course the Molten Chocolate Lava cake just finished it all off! So yummy! Best place to eat by far!

By far the best spot in town for a good dinner. Never had a bad meal from this place, in fact they have exceeded my expectations time and time again. Absolutely delicious, every single time. Great atmosphere too, very cozy and never too loud or anything. Maybe I'm just biased but even the beers off the tap seem to taste a little bit better here. 100% recommend, take someone you love here.

Bantam Grill is a great little gem in Peterborough - a polished casual dining experience with delicious, upscale food that does not disappoint! The terrific staff and cozy atmosphere make the experience of dining at Bantam perfect for any occasion.

We had a group of 8 (last two had to be added on to our party at the last minute and they accommodated us). It was a bit noisy for a group. However, the server and food were excellent.

My wife is dairy free and loved the raviolis. We both had a fantastic meal and the service was excellent. The blueberry mule mocktail was remarkable as well! Would definitly come back and recommend.
