Jen’s Hen House Restaurant

I had checked the reviews before coming here and seen a lot of positive feedback but the experience still turned out being a lot better then I had expected. It’s not a really big place but still can fit a good amount of people and we did not have to wait at all. The food was AMAZING as well as the service. Lynn did a great job in making sure we had all we needed and we never had to ask for a refill on anything. I’d for sure go back if I ever am back in the area.

First time there and i was impressed. Had the bluegill dinner and was so good...5 pieces of fish and bunch of fries and cottage cheese. Whole staff did great.

We had a group of 5 and they were just about to close
But they said they would stay open to serve us I mean who does that in thus day an age they were very freindlycourtious food was awesomechicken fried steak and eggs very good!

Had an awesome time here yesterday. All of the staff were extremely nice.

Great place to eat..Great food..Good service, 15 Stars!! It's nice to eat breakfast for dinner now and again, western omelette hash browns and texas toast ( Super! ) the g.f. got the farmer's omelette hash browns with toast.

5* place! For breakfast and dinner! Not had lunch but I guarantee it’s great! Good classic American food here!

It’s a rustic, clean and friendly place to eat great homemade food! There are funny plaques on the wall and the waitress will call you sweetheart! We really enjoyed our breakfast! Highly recommend!

Such a great and inexpensive breakfast. Perfectly cooked hash browns every time! Staff is always so helpful and kind. A must stop while in St. Helen!

Only thing. Out of fried chicken and beef!!! Next time. Sweet comfortable place!!!

Great food, atmosphere is laid back. Staff is wonderful. Showed up with a party of 6, sat us right away and had all food and drinks out in a timely manner.

This is nothing fancy as far as restaurants go but the small town home cooking was wonderful. The soup was hot and delicious, and the fried chicken was to die for. The staff were super friendly and the locals engaging. If you’re on the road heading north, and looking for some great food at reasonable prices, I highly recommend Jen’s!

Food was 5 stars breakfast sandwiches were out of this world! Been everywhere in this state you can tell they care about there customers❤

My husband and I tried the Hen House for breakfast on our weekend away. We were pleasantly surprised at this little restaurant! Lynn, our server, was amazing! Food was delicious! I definitely recommend them.
We ordered the country fried steak and Greek omelet. Super tasty!

We love this place, always hospitable, clean and great food. Kid friendly! 🥰

Everything was awesome, ordering online was a total breeze. They had our complete order ready when I got there to pick it up but it was still super fresh & the fries were even still hot when we got home. Will be sure to tip the kitchen next time, great service and awesome food. We ordered Club sandwich, 1/2 lb burger and a chicken wrap and we all were super happy with our meal.

The only place we go for breakfast! Lynn knows our order by heart and we enjoy seeing her after hunting all morning. All of the "hen's" are awesome and very welcoming! Highly recommend stopping in for a meal!
