East Pond Trailhead

Great place to explore and get your feet wet in the river.

I set out excitedly to check out the river at the East Pond trail only to arrive and find that someone had dumped 3 toilets along with boxes down the embankment. Shrewn all the way down the hill. I was beyond angry. I dragged it ALL up and away from the beautiful river. WHY? Why would someone do this. They should NOT get away with it.
It was reported to the national forest headquarters. I hope they find the person who's name is listed as the installer on that box as that would be a good place to start in finding who dumped this garbage in the woods. They'll surely do it again.

Fairly easy hike out to east pond.

Tiny parking lot but the entrance is hard to see so parking might still be available
