From first visit to post-op visit, Dr Lombardi and his staff were wonderful. Not one problem ever!

Dr. Lombardi did my hip replacement on 11/1/21, I was very pleased with the results. On 10/12/22, I saw him to evaluate my left knee for a knee replacement. He was very informative about the pending surgery and answered my questions. I chose him to do another joint replacement because he is one of the best in the region. I trust his skills and his experience.

Dr. Lombardi replaced both my knees. One 18 years ago and 20 years ago for the other one. He is very personable and pays attention to you when you’re explaining your pain. I used to live in Morris Plains and now in Barnegat. I drive to see Dr. Lombardi whenever I need to. I highly recommend Dr. Lombardi.

How do I start with my review, I know FANTASTIC! Dr. Lombardi was very welcoming and his nurse, both with a great smiles and very attentive to everything I was saying. Spoke to me of every option I had and Dr. Lombardi was the last Dr, I was going to see before my decision for surgery and I seen a couple.

Most Dr's did one or the other surgeries anterior, posterior and there is resurfacing and others. But most Dr's don't specialize in all mostly one or another. So with my conversation with Dr. Lombardi I told him I'm a Martial Artist since I was 15 years old and still very active and in great shape for 70 years old he told me I was a great candidate for the Birmingham Hip Resurfacing. Dr. Lombardi told me I would be able to still train after full recovery and following all guide line. So that made me a happy man.

So as a patient let me tell you, you have to do your research cause you are responsible for your health. So read all review research all surgeries and get more than a couple opinions. And don't look for convenience for your travel, look for the best. It takes me and hour or more if I hit the traffic on i78 west. I'm looking forward to my surgery and a new outlook in my year's to come.

P.S. I also like to give a shout out to all the staff of Dr. Lombardi they were very welcoming and respectful. And also the front desk which direct you to where you need to be, cause there are so many Dr's on that floor.

Here is my second review after my surgery. It all starts with the normal stuff checking in and being prepped for surgery. This is where Dr. Lombardi staff comes into play which was excellent. Everyone has a time and purpose to see you before surgery which was like clockwork. Made sure all my questions where answered and went over things more then once, which showed me they are on top of there game. I was told what kind of anesthesia I was getting and what to expect after and how easy I would wake. Then when all was done I was lead to the OR and before I new it, I was in recovery with no issues.

I spent one day in the hospital and was released, then lead down in a wheel chair to my ride home. I was told by the therapist that Dr Lombardi said I had no restrictions, which I was very happy about. I guess it was because of the Birmingham Hip Resurfacing which was a BLESSING!!!!

I was told just follow the ZB mymobility app and all will fall into place. The app is great, you’re in contact with the nurse if you have any question or doubts, on the things you have to do. I feel I’m healing great and can’t wait for full recovery so I could train hard again with my Martial Arts!

I’m 21 days out from surgery and took off the water proof bandage which came of super easy! And to my surprise the surgery site where I thought I was going to see a horrifying scar, there was none!!! I couldn’t see anything, it looked link a super thin line. So when I’m into months after surgery this thin line is just going to blend to my skin!! The Very best surgery closure I ever had FANTASTIC!!!!

So let me give you and analogy on my final thoughts. Dr Lombardi and his staff was like watching a Nascar 500 Pit stop everyone moving fluently with PRECISION on it’s HIGHEST LEVEL!!!!

Dr. Paul Lombardi is both our docters and we travel an hour & a 1/4, so that is saying a lot. He is a great doctor, highly recommended by other doctors & other people that have gone to him. He did my hip replacement which was very successful and I would highly recommend him to others.

Exceptional services with a great result. My ability to perform all the normal daily tasks and to participate physically in my hobbies and sports has improved tremendously. Dr Lombardi and his entire team addressed all of my concerns and questions. I wish I never needed the surgery but the end result has definitely improved the quality of my life. I’ve had a knee replacement at Tri County and was very pleased with the whole experience. I fell recently on my knee with the replacement and my doctor thought it might be infected and recommended I see my knee doctor as soon as possible. When I called Tri County they were very accommodating. The doctor who replaced my knee was not in the next day so she gave me an appointment with Dr. Lombardi. I saw Dr. Lombardi and was very pleased and he assured me there was no infection. He was very pleasant as was his nurse (everyone in the office). I wouldn’t hesitate to see Dr. Lombardi again. I have seen several doctors at Tri County and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend this practice.

The first time I went there was on a recommendation from my Chiropractor. I had arthritis in my hips. After meeting Dr Lombardi I was told exactly what my Chiro said. I could waste a lot of time and pain & get injections or get it replaced as it was bone on bone. I was a little nervous as my mother had a hip replacement (in Florida) and had complications. What I didn't expect was the immediate relief I felt and how quickly I felt better! I can't say enough about how great Dr Lombardi & Oliver were before, during & after. So now that the other side is getting bad it was a no-brainer. I'm actually looking forward to it. I strongly advise that if you're nervous or on the fence about the possibility of surgery- to go see them. I got my life back.

Dr. Paul Lombardi is an excellent and skilled surgeon; my second successful surgery with him. His staff is professional and extremely committed to ensuring that everything goes smoothly. I highly recommend Dr. Lombardi to anyone who needs hip surgery; you need not go anywhere else!

I can't speak highly enough about Dr. Paul Lombardi. I had a few references from people that had either knee or hip replacements from him so decided he was the Dr. to do my hip replacement! I certainly have no regrets with that decision!! It went so much smoother than I ever imagined and I feel 15 years younger with zero pain!!! I'm back into life and doing the things that I love thanks to him!! I highly recommend Dr. Lombardi!!

This month will be 10 yrs since i fractured my patella. I had it repaired by Dr. Paul Lombardi in March 2009. Dr. Lombardi is my Hero ! I am walking normally today because of his expertise so long ago. Dr. Lombardi is a phenomenal surgeon. He has a wonderful staff & if his office is always busy { be patient people } that is because everyone who has gone to him is happy with their results !!! I dont get reading ------ that he doesnt have a good bedside manner. he was always cordial, patient, explained everything to me, and made me laugh !! To me the clear measure of a good surgery is that the patient is still doing well 10 yrs later. Many thanks to Dr. Lombardi & his wonderful staff. I will never forget what you did for me. I wish you many years of continued success !!!

Had hip replacement 12/21/21. All has gone well so far. I was back to work in 1 week. Paul did explain everything fully even though I was already aware of what needed to be done and how it would be done. Good follow up visit with him. Would recommend him for this to anyone.

I have to strongly disagree with Wendy's review. First - the staff at Tri-County is efficient and courteous. They have always gone out of their way to assist me - even over the phone. As to Dr. Lombardi himself - he has done two hip replacements and when I foolishly slipped on the ice and fractured one of them, he fixed it! I went from not being able to walk a block without severe pain to being pain free. He is an outstanding surgeon, who will spare you a lot of pain and recovery time by doing an anterior approach rather than a posterior approach whenever possible. I highly recommend him!

Excellent experience every visit no long waiting times always fully informed on what to expect. Dr Lombardi is well knowledgeable in his field of practice. I feel very comfortable with him and staff .
