Wilson's Bread

Oh My Goodness!!! The best bread I have ever had in the US. This baker could proudly compete with any 3star patisserie. We absolutely loved it. NYC has no such bread. Amazing amazing! Thank you, Wilson!

Based on local reviews, we had placed an order from Wilson's - sight unseen - for Saturday morning pick up. The night before, however, we went out to Wayside Cider for dinner and got the baguette appetizer - we were blown away by the baguette! It was perfectly crisp on the outside, light and airy on the inside and everyone in the party agreed that it was some of the best baguette we'd ever had. When we asked the bartender where it was from he told us Wilson's Bread. Now we were super excited for our Saturday morning order.
The process was made so simple - order online on Wednesday, get confirmation; Order was ready Saturday morning, get a reminder text. Line up outside the bakery to wait your turn and pick up. The staff was pleasant, the coffee smelled incredible, as well!
We chose both chocolate and almond croissant and honestly they blew us away. They were light, flaky and had the most amazing buttery taste. It is abundantly clear that a lot of love goes into baking at Wilson's. Once again, everyone in our group agreed that these were some of the best croissants we'd ever had. So glad we shopped here on our getaway!

Wilson Keenan makes some of the most delicious bread I've ever had, along with superb laminated pastries. I've lived in New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Portland, OR, and Wilson's Bread is among my favorites. Try the seeded sourdough if you get a chance, or rest assured that anything you buy will be outstanding.

Can't say enough about Wilson's bread. He's been our primary source of bread since we moved her last summer and we rely on his incredible selections each week. I have family members who are gluten intolerant and even they have found that this bread is easy on their systems because Wilson sources the highest quality grains...locally!! From the sourdough to the croissants, you can't go wrong!! (It also freezes really well too. We always have loaves in the freezer to pull out at any moment).

I don’t really eat bread. Being from Denmark I grew up with really good bread so what I found was really not that interesting. But then Wilson started baking. His bread is the best I have EVER tasted. His attention to resources, nuances of taste and the chewiness. You haven’t had bread if you haven’t had Wilson’s bread. Oh and did I tell you about the croissants?

This place is aces. My wife and I are pastry people and tried most of what’s available in the catskill area. This is the best of the best, particularly for croissants, pan au chocolate and any other flaky-type pastry. After you eat your pastries, head to the Palmer hill lookout for a beautiful hike and walk half of it off :-)

Croissants with such pure intention that the buttery flakes shattering with each bite woke my baby up from her nap, because even a baby won’t sleep on perfection.

Ordered a loaf and didn't know what to expect. Very much worth standing in the breadline on Saturday to pick up my order! A welcomed new addition to the downtown Andes scene.

Amazing bread and baked goods... I could live off the morning buns (forever #1 in my heart) and sourdough! Highly recommend you check it out.

I love the Pullman loaves, they add SO MUCH to a sandwich! Chocolate croissants are also fabulous!!

Order ahead for phenomenal pastries and bread. We love you, Wilson!
