Central Park of Morris County

If you need a dog park for your high energy puppy to run free, then this is the place. All dog sizes welcome for all responsible dog owners anytime of day here. It’s nice and quiet 3-4pm and more doggies after 4pm. There are 4 sections of the park separate by gates, provide doggie poo bags, easy parking. Bring some waters for yourself and for your dog.

There are two regulation-size in-line hockey rinks, as well as a 1.5-mile paved trail. There is a 5-acre fenced-in dog park with separate areas for small and large dogs.
large playground with a variety of equipment for children of all ages. 11 miles of trails that wind through the park, offering stunning views of the surrounding area.
There are several picnic areas with tables and grills.
The park is open year-round and free admission.

Beautiful park with plenty to do for kids, adults, and anyone in between! Morris County park system keeps this location pristine all year long with great fields, play equipment, and courts. Highly recommend visiting -- but go the speed limit in the area, as the 25mph is strictly enforced!

My husband I love to go for walks here. The scenery is vey nice specially in the spring when the cherry trees are in full bloom. It’s great for a little family outing, kids can ride their bikes, use the playground or for a family picnic.

We have always like Central Park. This time we went for a picnic dinner. We wanted to grill, so we picked seats by their charcoal grill. When we arrived it wasn't busy. There were no real problems but a very large group of people arrived while we were there (Sunday evening). They filled up the area. They were friendly & polite, however this seems to be a common activity for them so you may want to plan ahead.

Large expansive park with tons of fields and parking. Fields are in great condition and they have a building with plumbed bathrooms.

Great dog park with 4 separate gated areas, 2 huge fields, one wooded section, and a small dog field, all fenced in. Enough room for everyone, gorgeous fields & woods. Bring water for the pups.

Huge sprawling park where kids of all ages can enjoy parks, fields, and paved paths!

It's wonderful for kids. The playground is big enough for kids to enjoy🥰🤩 and playarea has no mulch or dirt so I personally liked it

A nice park for kids. Gate closed in park so no wandering off. Plenty to do for all ages and benches for parents and grandparents.

The park had nice turf fields that are well taken care of.

This is a free , open park for the family. It has a hydraulic machine circuit for exercising, a football field, a volleyball-sand court, and a close playground for children.
It has a dog park close too.

One of nicest and friendlest dog parks we have been to.

Here with son for soccer practice. Fields are large and well maintained. Cherry blossoms blooming. Hockey rinks on other side of street.

Great park with a very large off leash area for dogs. Park has plenty of parking and trails to walk on.

Was here for a Steel United soccer tournament. The only thing missing was a coffee truck for the parents watching the games.

This place has a ton of outdoor activity options. I personally use it for hiking, running, kickball, roller hockey. There are plenty of other sports areas such as soccer turf, volleyball nets, cross country track, kids park, dog park, etc. Seems like a nice place to bring your kids and pets for a day of exercise. Park is well maintained and has bathrooms and frequently cleaned porterjohns throughout. Family and Date friendly location, in my humble opinion!

Well maintained and very nice field. Good vibes too when you see sporting flocks.
