The Stone House at Ingleside

What a gem in Aurora! The Stone House at Ingleside is a very spacious lovely home, comfortable, cozy, beautifully decorated, so very charming and a perfect mix of old and new! A group of us women had an amazing relaxing time! Lissa, is an exceptional host from inquiry to follow through after we left, with great communication, attention to detail and she went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and asked for. She even provided the perfect weather for our stay! (huge request, she's that good!) We enjoyed the home, the grounds and just had the best time! My only hesitation on this review is wanting to keep this special place just for me! You won't be disappointed and I look forward to returning to this special place!

We had a wonderful family vacation at The Stone House. The house is comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. We had family dinners in the dining room and the modern kitchen made it a joy to prepare meals.
We watched sunsets from the front porch and gathered around the fire pit in the back. Lissa is a wonderful host and quickly replied to our questions. Our family made many happy memories and we can’t wait to return to the Stone House for vacation!

If you’re a discerning traveler who enjoys five star comforts, you won’t go wrong with this place! I had stayed at near by Inns of Aurora before, Lissa’s place was just as five star and more: panoramic lake views, big rooms tastefully decorated, upscale baths, gourmet kitchen… You and your family or friends will have plenty room to spread out both inside and outside. Lissa was an attentive gracious host throughout the process, a great communicator, answered questions promptly, made our booking, prep and stay an excellent experience. What a gem! Thank you Lissa!!!

Absolutely perfect in every way! Plenty of space to gather - from the two front porches to view the lake sunsets to the private courtyard around the fireplace. The home was well appointed with anything we needed. Lissa was a fantastic host - helpful and responsive to any question or need. This was truly an ideal stay for our family get together. The most perfect house in an incredible location. It is hard to find the words to describe the beauty of The Stone House. It is extraordinarily decorated, updated and spacious, while still preserving the historic charm. Every room - from the kitchen, to the living room, to the office (and everything in between!) is immaculate and comfortable.

The grounds are expansive with spectacular offerings (firepit, picnic table, etc.) and breathtaking views.

Lissa was the most excellent host. Attentive, communicative, kind. She provided great recommendations in the area and went above & beyond to ensure we had an amazing time.

Truly cannot recommend this property enough. Would stay here again in an instant!!

Nothing could have prepared us for our trip to Paradise in quaint Aurora, NY. The Stone House did not disappoint. With stunning lake views, elegant, private, and cozy rooms, and a designer's touch throughout, we’re returning again next year. Our charming hostess warmly welcomed us and was always available.

My family and 3 other couples spent 3 nights here in early October. It was one of the best trips I’ve ever had. The home and property are gorgeous and the host had the place in amazing shape. Comfy beds, big rooms, amazing views. Little piece of paradise here. Great breweries and wineries around too. Can’t beat it for the finger lakes. We will be back!
