I’ve been a part of the at Rebel community since they opened in 2012. Chris and Aaron have created a safe, respectful and, dare I say enjoyable place for a solid workout. The group sessions are a great way to learn proper form and personal training sessions allow you continue to push your boundaries. It is truly a positive community where you can and will achieve your fitness goals. Highly recommend (and I have to many friends).

I have been a member of Rebel Fitness and Performance for some time now, and I can confidently say that it's one of the best gyms I've ever been to. Chris and Aaron, the co-owners, are experts in their field and are extremely knowledgeable about physiology, nutrition, training and body mechanics. They are always available to help modify exercises and provide guidance on all aspects of fitness.

What sets Rebel Fitness and Performance apart is the sense of community that Chris and Aaron have built. They frequently host events and fundraisers to bring the gym members together, and it's always fun. The supportive atmosphere in the gym is appreciated, and I always leave feeling motivated and energized.

In addition to group classes, Rebel Fitness and Performance also offers personal training with varying time slots to accommodate all schedules. I never enjoyed going to the gym until I started going to Rebel Fitness. Aaron, Chris and Michelle are super supportive, attentive and have created an inclusive community that includes individuals of all fitness levels. I appreciate that I can attend a class after a long day and always look forward to seeing everyone. One of the owners is a Veteran and on Thursday nights, Rebel provides a welcoming and supportive space for Veterans to come together. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for more than a traditional gym and more of a community to join Rebel today!

Rebel Fitness is a life changer! I started with Chris two years ago doing personal training. The wealth of knowledge and amount of care that is put into the work they do at Rebel is unlike any other. I am stronger, happier, and more motivated to move and be active. The personal training has been a great outlet and has enabled me to move through and grow past fears from prior injuries. The trainers personalize workouts to me, and as my abilities have changed, so have my workouts. Weights have gotten heavier as I got stronger and the intensity of the workout has increased as my endurance has improved. The trainers really care about their clients.
Though the gym may look like a CrossFit, it is far from it. Classes are not based on max weights or time challenges and the workouts are always different. In two years, of both personal training and classes, I don't think I've ever had the same workout twice.
Rebel classes are a great balance of interval training with weights and movement and the coaches are really good at critiquing body form during movements to avoid injury.
I would highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for guided workouts or personal training!

I don’t even know where to start. Rebel Fitness is awesome! The facility has the beta equipment I’ve seen in a gym. Cody and Aaron as so knowledgeable and do an amazing job at helping you reach your goals, regardless of what they are. I’ve lifted some weights before, but having Cody organize and walk me through my training was a complete game changer. With safety being their main goal, I felt comfortable learning how to exercise correctly and most importantly, be in the best shape of my life. I’ve seen them work with clients of all ages. If you’re looking for a new gym and or fitness guidance, save yourself the trouble of searching around and check Rebel out.

I started Rebel Fitness over a year ago, and their classes are the highlight of my week! Every class is different and really make me work to be better than I was before. Aaron, Chris, and Michelle are super knowledgeable, friendly, and super welcoming. They really listen to you and are open to questions or alternatives to the exercises for people with injuries/disabilities. The class sizes are small which allows for a more personalized touch. I constantly rave about them and the gym. If you are looking to achieved your fitness goals in the new year, definitely swing on by and talk to them. You won't regret it!

Very happy with the group classes. The instructors are helpful to raise or lower the difficulty. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly which is a great thing when you're trying to get started!

Rebel is a welcoming, community friendly, safe and positive gym for all fitness levels. The owners Aaron and Chris are knowledgeable trainers who are diligent about proper training to prevent injuries so that you can accomplish your fitness goals. In addition to 1:1 training, they provide fun and challenging group classes. I have known them both since their days at 24, but have been training with Aaron for the last 5 years now, and I am grateful for the personalized workouts focused on mobility, balance, and strength so that I can continue with my adventurous lifestyle. If you have some goals you want to achieve, check this place out!

The trainers at Rebel Fitness are dedicated to helping build a stronger, healthier, better version of you. And despite your initial fitness level, any feelings of intimidation or thoughts of being “less than”, you will be coached to an overall sense of well-being in a supportive, positive and fun environment that turns into real sense of community.
I don’t know how Chris, Aaron and Michelle structure such different routines for every class, but there are no repeats and thus no possibility of growing bored, ever.
The gym itself is immaculate.
You will be amazed by what you can accomplish and by how supportive the environment is.

I love Rebel Fitness! I can't say enough about the key part it plays in my life and how it is integral to my well being. It's not just a gym but a community where you learn about and support each other. Clean space and knowledgeable instructors! There are several class times to choose from and no two classes are the same. Every instructor is highly educated and very attentive to form and possible injury. Rebel Fitness is a welcoming environment well suited to all fitness levels!

I’ve been working out at Rebel for over a year now. I love it!! I’m a busy mom with 2 boys and I like that I have the option workout in the morning or evening. I love the group classes and how each class is a different workout. The gym is always clean Aaron & Chris are super nice and very knowledgeable trainers.

I have worked with Chris Ransier, on and off, for 14 years in various capacities.

I initially hired him as my personal trainer to assist me with my weight loss goals. I found him to be exceptionally good at keeping me safe, motivating and challenging me with exercises that kept me engaged, gave correct feedback to help me become consistent, and provided nutrition and dieting guidance.

As I worked through my weight loss journey, I added more goals. Chris was outstanding at helping to design specific routines and exercises to help me accomplish them. His self-motivation also helped push me to reach my goals. He continuously leads by example.

Currently, I work with him in a group class setting. He is adept at assessing the group's physical limitations and providing movements based on their general fitness level. He always maintains high energy and high expectations. He possesses exceptional leadership skills, has the patience of a saint and makes class fun.

I wouldn't go anywhere else for my fitness needs.

For years, I thought I was doing enough working out, once a week, on my own, no direction. Then came covid, and I was (still am) working from home, and I had no excuses of not committing to my health. I now work out 3-4 days a week with group classes and one on one, and at age 61, feel healthier than I have ever been. Workouts are fun, adaptive and most importantly produce results!. Chris and Aaron do a fantastic job in tailoring workouts that meet our specific needs. My best days are when I leave the gym, muscles fatigued, drenched in sweat, and ready to conquer the world.

Go for a free class and give this place a try!! I've been going to Rebel for 6 months and it's so worth it. The trainers really know their stuff and they're attentive, supportive, and down-to-earth. The small group format is friendly and fun without being overwhelming. I've done F45 and OTF before, but Rebel offers really personalized attention. I seriously can't say anything negative about this gym.

I have been going to Rebel for over 7 years and its the best gym I have ever belonged to.I was a Firefighter for almost 40 years and started going to Rebel about 5 years before retiring and i'm sure it was one of the reasons I was able to do 5 more years of firefighting.
During the Pandemic they did zoom classes and kept me in shape virtually! I don't know of any other gym that did that!

My wife and I have been going to rebel for about 4 years now for personal training. We’ve worked with multiple trainers and the quality of the workouts and overall focus on practical fitness keeps us coming back. These are workouts tailored around our needs and life events. All the trainers we’ve had also moonlight well as therapists.

Excellent training, highly knowledgeable, skilled, educated, state of the art equipment and immaculate facility. Emphasis on proper training to prevent injury and maintain good fitness. I am a local Physical Therapist in the South Seattle/ Renton area and I cannot say enough good things about Rebel Fitness & Performance. The two owners, Aaron and Chris, our personal trainers who really know their kinesiology and anatomy. I have worked on a handful of their clients who they have referred and the communication with the two of them have been seamless. This is incredibly important when trying to assist athletes in their injuries to ensure a workout is never missed. There are zero egos here but rather this place breeds of enthusiasm for health and eagerness to learn about the body. I’ve heard the two of them use the word “stability training“ with other clients and have witnessed multiple times the two of them facilitating workouts that address stability of the body versus solely focusing on increasing weights and intensity. It’s truly refreshing to work collaboratively with personal trainers and I have zero reservations in recommending my patients to continue their health journey with Aaron and Chris.

Rebel Fitness & Performance is an amazing place to get your health back on track. Their facility is quite large and with COVID-19 precautions they have been at the top of their game in ensuring the safety of their fitness community. If you’re looking for individuals who care about your health and wellness as well as a community of people who could become a new source of friends, look nowhere else especially if you are in the Renton, Kennydale, South Seattle, and Benson Hill area. They are conveniently located in downtown Renton near the Renton Municipal Airport with plenty of parking in the rear of the building.
