Charlie's CARSTAR Auto Body

Was subjected to a golf-ball sized hail storm during July 2023. Submitted photos to AllState - that's the only way to do it and the resulting estimate was very inaccurate. Charlie's was one of a few body shops that said that they would work with AllState. When dropping off the car, we pointed out some of the inaccuracies in the AllState estimate. Charlie's worked with AllState to generate a supplement claim with all of the problems with the inaccurate estimate. The original estimate (which included replacing the hood and windshield) was on the order of $5500; the final bill was on the order of $11500. The spouse ❤ the car as returned. I wish we could give 6 🌟. We've brought the second hail-damaged car to Charlie's.

Well, I can’t say enough about Carstar, they do a fantastic job. Chuck is extremely professional and his receptionist is also great. I would recommend anyone that needs work done on your car or truck to use Carstar they do great work.

Quality work and had my vehicle finished on time . They found a small chip and not being sure if it happened while it was there or not, still discounted my bill! Very polite staff that kept me informed every step of the way. Highly recommended Charlie’s Car Star of Cahokia!!

The absolute best! Took my Jeep to the Cahokia location for numerous cosmetic repairs and it came back looking brand new, and in a shorter time frame than anticipated. Wouldn't recommend anyone else!

They did a great job on repairing the hail damage. I would recommend that they give a more accurate time frame on how long they’ll have your car. When I made my appointment I asked them how long they would have my car. They told me maybe a couple days. They had my car for a whole week. I would come to them again for any other body damage issues. With insurance only,they are expensive. However, their very friendly and professional.

All of the service staff were kind. My car was in a hit and run . Carstar didn't charge me a inspection fee. I have two granddaughters that live with me . they didn't fix it due to my financial inability but. Not being charged any fee was a blessing. Thank you to the carsstar staff.

To the gang at Charley's Carstar in Cahokia, the mechanics, the guys who did the body work and especially the ladies at the front desk, THANK YOU!! The accident we were in was really hard on us. It's was great to know we didn't have to worry about how our car was going to be fixed. My daughter and I were hit from the back and I was sent here for my repairs. All I can say is they do PHENOMENAL work!!!!! EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM START TO FINISH. In short , the service from the office to the shop is phenomenal, The only issue we had was from the ins. company, Adam is on point with his Customer service skills and The shop crew does Amazing work. Chuck has an awesome crew. The service and work speaks for its self, makes you ask how!! But they did. Thank you Guys and gals.

In a time of distress with a vehicle repair i was met with personable customer service that you'll only find in a family owned business. I was looked after greatly when it came to keeping the pricing as low as they could within reason. The service turn around was 1 work day and looks fantastic.
