I took my mom here as I wanted to take her out on a date together. My mom deserves to get out and enjoy the lovely weather we have been getting up in the Long Island area. We came to this spot (by the way it's called "American Standard"). I think the bar/restaurant change the name.

This spot offers live music, we enjoyed a guitarist play during the course of our stay here.

We ordered the alligator fritters as our appetizer and catfish poh boy with a burger that had all kinds of galore in it.

The food was fantastic, very delicious. The alligator fritters was phenomenal. It's rare to find a bar/restaurant to offer alligator in this area as there aren't any alligators or crocodiles nearby. It was well cooked, not dry. The dish presentation was cute.

The meal was very filling as the burgers came with fries or side salad. The poh boy came with the same option, but my mom ordered salad. The food portions were perfect.

The spot also offers a wide selection of alcohol, including many choices of craft beer. I highly recommend coming here to have a good time. It's very causal.

The best & freshest food I’ve had in many years! I had the Tuna with Wasabi, mashed potatoes & asparagus. Oh my gosh!! Great to the palate & senses. Absolute delicious cuisine. Customer service is top notch too & bartender Keith was a delight. I highly recommend!

Went tonight for our first time. First off- I had the best blackberry margarita with fresh fruit. So delicious. Friend had a white cosmo which was also very good. Shrimp tacos were the best I have ever had. Will absolutely be back for more blackberry margaritas and especially Bang Bang Shrimp tacos! The waitress/bartender was working alone but did an excellent job. Friendly, helpful and a hard worker.

Delicious!!! Definitely added to the list of returning restaurants! We started with muscles and crab cakes. The crab cakes are so good, and ALL crab, no filler, so you get what you pay for. Both dinners were equally as good, again the lobster ravioli was all lobster, no filler! They had 3 choices for dessert, I'm not sure if that's the norm, we weren't given a menu, just a verbal list. The chocolate mousse was the perfect ending!!
Our server seemed a bit green, just little things like not clearing our table or asking if we needed more water. Overall, it was a great experience!

Great food and service (as always)! The menu has so many great options, and the tuna sandwich was spectacular! I’m so glad it’s on the menu! The rest of my family enjoyed their meals too.

Place was awesome!! Really nice bartender and Stephanie our server was very nice. The Mediterranean platter appetizer as well as shrimp and grits were some of the best I have had in a long time.

Brought my daughter for cocktails for her 21st birthday, Mike the bartender was great and very personable. We did not eat, but the drinks were amazing and beautifully made!

Came here for New years Eve after a long walk at Fire Island, and I think I found my favorite place for an amazing pub burger, and the staff is just delightful 😊

The French dip, Mac and cheese balls were so good. The French dip was meaty, tasty and full. In other words it was delicious!!! I also got the truffle fries which were okay but I'm fine with a total of 10 French fries. The sesame crusted tuna nachos were delicious as well. You can barely taste the seafood taste in it. The bartenders were quick with our drinks and it was almost like a show as they made them while sitting at the bar.

We had a great afternoon for St. Patrick's day here. The bartenders were on top of everything and the food was delicious

Food was excellent, beer was ice cold. The owners Luigi and Tara were excellent. Staff was very attentive and beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I came to corks and taps on Friday night to see the legendary one man band, Bobcat perform. My friends and I were amazed by the show and how great it was to see him in our backyard at an upscale restaurant like this. I'm so happy to see they got live music there. It was a great environment and the food was excellent. I will come back many times.

Food and service was amazing!! Burratta was off the hook! Rice balls were great! Steak was delicious, short rib was really good! Would definitely go back!!

Friendly bartender and waitresses. The atmosphere is always awesome. Some live music, and a great coconut mojito made especially for me as a request. Food it's also good

Looking for a Sunday brunch come here. Server was friendly and very responsive to our needs. Kept the mimosa glasses filled. Food was outstanding! Canoli French toast was so tasty syrup was not needed.

We stopped in for a quick drink and a bite to eat. We got the spinach dip which was very filling and a really big portion. Good selection of draft beer to pick from. Bar tender was friendly and attentive even as they got busier for the dinner rush.

Went here for the first time for brunch. They have a bottomless mimosas special. The server recommended the avocado toast and I was very happy with that selection! The food was fresh and delicious, they also had live music. Very talented. Nice, relaxed atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out.

Always love it here, never EVER have been disappointed! Food is out of this world, the atmosphere is a rustic gastro vibe. Do you love beer? Go here for the best selection I've come across on long island! They even do flights!! The wine ain't too shabby either😉 Huge bar perfect for sport games and a true hidden gem so a seat isn't hard to come by! Always coming back for more, thank you for your incredible expertise at what you all do!!

Our brunch today was AMAZING! We stumbled on Corks and Taps after leaving Toast which had and hour + wait. I'm so glad we did! They just added Brunch to their menu 2 weeks ago. The food was delicious! The staff were great! Looking forward to going back.

We walked in and were seated expeditiously . Our server came right over and got our drinks quickly. The food came out quickly and was so delicious! The short rib ravioli was so yummy i used my pizza crust to eat up the left over sauce! I highly recommend .
