Great store to shop in friendly friendly customer service!! Charlie's the man! Kind friendly very helpful knows what they're doing when it comes to Toys video games and much much more!

Had an amazing experience there this past weekend. I brought in two bins of toys/games to sell and Charlie took his time to help go through everything piece by piece and give me a very fair offer. Couldn't be happier with how it went. I would absolutely recommend this place!

Before I start, I would like to say that I haven't been paid or compensated in any form in order to make my review. For a couple a months I have seen the post from this store, I am a retro guy that loves vinyl, toys, video games and electronics in general, but been 1 hour plus away from me, I decided to hold my visit......that was till yesterday , My wife and I decided to shop around at the mall and right after take a trip finally and see what goodies I could find , Sunday night and 2 minutes before closing time , I made the call to the store asking to hold for me if it was not an inconvenience....the answer was: by no means it is an inconvenience!! Just drive on and will wait for you, I got there exactly at closing time and I was welcomed with a smile and been told to take my time with no rush. Small store but very well organized and full of retro dreams in perfect conditions!! The owner ...a down to earth guy extremely helpful and joyful to have us there , I originally need it to shop for one of my friends Christmas present but I ended shopping for me and my wife too....everyone in the store are very friendly and I was treated like a friend and not a costumer, I would definitely return with more time ( you need it in order to search ) Blast from the past is my store for shopping, we need more stores like this, once again I'm just a happy client who hasn't been paid for this review......from 1 to 10 I give it a 100!! Thank you guys!!

I met Rich at the Retro gaming con where I bought a GameCube from him. Him and his associate were super friendly and helpful and with their 30 day warranty I felt confident buying a used older system and games from them. Then I found out they also buy a huge variety of collectibles and since I didn’t have the time and patience to sell them online, I was happy to hear I can sell them in one shot at their store. Rich was so accommodating, honest and personable in discussing the pricing he can offer and I felt like I could trust him and he was very fair with his offer! He was patient, answered questions, and explained how he determined the pricing. Didn’t feel pressured or rushed or taken advantage of as a lot of stores or merchants can make you feel! I truly missed the experiences of my childhood having the excitement of going to stores and looking at all the cool stuff they had in a world where so much is online. I missed the connections to the people that have a love for the same things and the hunt for that awesome find or thing that takes you back to happy childhood memories. The store is awesome and has such a huge variety of collectibles, movies, games, and more. It’s super organized and clean too! They keep getting new things and changing it up unlike many stores that you see the same things you saw last time! It was such a great experience and fun time! There’s really nothing quite like it on Long Island, or probably even further out. Thanks for a great deal, helping me make some more space at home and knowing these collectibles will help support local business and go to homes that will appreciate them! I definitely look forward to coming back! 😊

Cool spot, a lot of loose Vintage toys, Boxed stuff, GPKs. A little bit of everything. Solid service, definitely will be back

Just started coming here a few weeks ago and it's been nothing but good experiences. The staff is friendly and the place is very organized and clean. Not as much inventory as other retro stores but the priced are fair and will actually take trades in. Overall I highly recommend this tiny hidden gem in Bayshore.

First off I ordered off ebay with these guys, The aliens toy for my son was in pristine condition and the packaging was amazing! They packed the box with bubble wrap with care! Looked like I just baught it in the 90s and never touched it for 30 years!! Called Paul on the phone to see if there was more inventory available and He was 👏 amazing! He took the time to answer all my questions! Thank you guys , you made my kiddo happy! Will order again!

This shop has something for everyone, from kids to collectors, all more than fairly priced. So much inventory goes in and out of the place it looks different every couple of weeks, which is amazing. I like that it is getting some of the recognition it deserves. The gentleman that owns the store is always such a pleasure to talk to and do business with. He's always eager to talk about a variety of topics, that is if he isn't already putting all of his focus in helping a customer. The place has good variety, great deals, amazing service. A trip to the good old days as soon as you walk in. Really cool store.

Walking into your store is being instantly transported back to my childhood days. Every nook and cranny sparks another memory and brings a smile to my face. David the manager is so welcoming. He never makes you feel rushed. If anything, he encourages customers to stay awhile, explore, and reminisce— which I gladly do. Tonight I walked out with yet another treasure (or two or three) and I can’t wait to come back because as the name says, it surely is a blast from the past

Blast from the past is much more than just another store on main street. It is rooted in family and community. It truly is a conduit connecting generations. The owner and The staff members are the most down to earth genuine people you could meet. I highly recommend taking a visit. Make it a family event you will literally find something for everyone in one place. You will never leave dissappointed.

This store is so awesome has such a wide selection of everything! The owner Rich was very welcoming to me and my special needs client and was very helpful for both of us! We had a great time and will be back every week

If you’re into retro merch, this place is the spot. They have everything you could imagine. Rich (the owner) is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and down to earth. All the staff follow suit. I love how well maintained and organized the store is. Regardless of the fact that I did not purchase anything, he was extremely kind to me and answered all of my questions. This is the type of place that deserves and will have my future business. Love this place. Definitely worth checking out! You won’t regret it!!!

My whole family and I love going to Blast from the Past! So many cool toys, games, videos and a whole lot more. Rich has always taken care of us and gone above and beyond. I would recommend this store to anyone who appreciates nostalgia as much as us!

not from the store but at the cradle of aviation there was a stand with them selling vintage NES games and systems like an N64. the person running the stand who i think is the owner was very nice and even gave me a discount on my system because I was short some money. I am definitely coming to the store to buy games for the system!

I never felt more respected doing business. I sold a lot of my child hood toys, and collectors items to the owner of the store. He was knowledgeable through out the entire process. We had a fun time and I would honestly recommend anyone who has collectors items they are looking to sell to Blast From The Past. Thank you again for your time Rich!

Staff here was super thorough when trading in, these guys know what their looking for when it comes to bootlegs and piracy, safe to say all their stuff is real and authentic, this is the place to go for retro video games

What a great store and experience! Went in looking for something small and went overboard by the end! Dave is the man!! He really made this trip special and helped make sure I got the coolest stuff possible for my collection!
