Good Samaritan Hospital

I’ve been at this hospital twice and am shocked by the comments it has received. I have never been treated bad at this place or any other of their facilities. All staff members have always been respectful, polite and helpful to me. I just gave birth we stayed 4 days and I cannot say anything negative. Nurses were very kind and never made me feel unattended. They taught me so much and gave me a lot of support even after being released the good sam’s team has reached out making sure the baby and I are ok and that we have everything we need. I would recommend this place to anyone. People who go by reviews need to remember that others are more likely to leave a negative comment rather than a good one.

I came to the ER because my mom had a severe stomach pain, Within 4 hours since we came into the ER entrance, they were able to diagnosed that my mom had an appendicitis. My mom being taken into the operating room within 2 hours, and the operation only went about an hour or so. Compares to other hospital, this one was quick. We were in and out in 10 hours, and my mom had an 2x ecg, lung xray, ct scan with contract, 2 blood draws, and an appendectomy. All within 10 hours.
Oh and all the nurses/doctors/nurse assistants/ everyone is really nice and welcoming.

Today was my 2nd visit to the ER & each time I’ve had a positive experience. I was in & out within 3 hours for both visits. Today’s visit was above & beyond. The wait time was very short to get started with intake & getting a bed in the ER didn’t take long (mind you this was 2am) My nurse today (I didn’t get her name, but she had cool tattoos on her arms & hands haha) was a sweet heart. She let me speak without rushing me or cutting me off. Told me what medications she was giving me and why. I saw 2 doctors today & both treated me with respect & had patience with me. They listened to my complaints & concerns. One was even able to relate to me on a certain issue. My attending doctor was Adam David Schwartz & he was great & thorough. I was given a couple of medications to have filled at my pharmacy & the pharmacy for some reason said the 1 rx needed to be resent. I understand it’s almost impossible to get a hold of a doctor or nurse in the ER but I took a chance & was helped rather quickly by Aaron Weinberg & he took care of me in under 5 minutes. I appreciate everyone’s help here today. I couldn’t get the name of everybody I came in to contact with today but thank you!

I had a scheduled medical procedure performed on October 17, 2023 and entered through Good Sam's ASU North wing. I want to compliment all the nurses, aides and surgical staff, including Dr. Atalla, for their excellent care, friendliness and courtesy extended during my visit. Good Samaritan Hospital seems to receive many uncomplimentary reviews, BUT my experience rates a 5 star review. Well done Good Samaritan Hospital.

The nurses went above and beyond for my mom. She had a small procedure this morning and the communication was seamless. I appreciated the hourly updates via text. Thank you so much.

Give birth to my son here, took him here when he had Covid at 6 weeks. The nurses and the doctors are amazing and so caring. I felt my baby in good hands here ❤

On October 1 at around 330 I went to hospital with a fever of 103.5 was feeling the worst I have ever ever felt in my life, because before this, I had a sinus infection, upper respiratory infection, and fluid in both ears, so I was on antibiotic for very long time towards the end I was on an extremely high antibiotic in the body & was highly allergic to, but really did not know till that moment. Anyway, long story short, I ended up at good Samaritan Hospital and I stay 100% behind my words that every single person that greeted me went above and beyond and we all know first impressions is everything, but keep in mind the first person that greet you set the mood and the tone for what is going to happen next… every single person was outstanding and very professional, and to be very quite honest without them. I don’t know if I would be here today to tell you how wonderful this team treated me and got me out and feeling well and back to my normal self I wanna think every single person that was there that day and the next, you guys look great keep up the great work and all good things are going to happen for you because you make a difference and you care ! The er was excellent from the nurses to the techs to the doctors. Everyone was very kind and the caring, they explained each step of what was next, the doctors were very thorough with tests and explaining the results. Highly recommend GSER

The Nicu here is phenomenal my daughter has been in the greatest hands here the nurses are so knowledgeable and really take great care of these babies also maternity is great as well I can't speak on the er ad I have never used it here

From the doctors and nurses in the ER to the staff and all the Drs and floor Nurses EVERYONE took great care of my wife during her emergency stay. I can't say enogh about how kind and professional thet were.

They nurses staff in unit D 110 are the sweetest and took very good care of me. The doctors were nice to me. The food was delicious.

I want to thank Raquel at front desk at the Baxter building. My granddaughter was born in Wed 6-14-23 and this you lady was so sweet and helpful. She went above and beyond to make sure my family knew where to go and what to expect. Love her!! I apologize there was an older lady also who was soo wonderful … thank you from the bottom of my heart! ❤❤

I was hospitalized for almost a whole month i had a hight risk pregnancy & the nurses and doctor did everything to make sure my baby and I were safe. Beyond grateful with all the staff even with the cleaning guy!! Very friendly. After the whole month i gave birth my baby stayed in the NICU for 65 days and they did absolutely everything to make sure she was okay. They love & know what they do🫶

I had surgery on the 27th July and my experience was very comfortable the staff was very professional and kind, Dr Toset was my surgeon and he did a fantastic job!

The valet guy at the booth, Kevin, was very helpful and respextful. I apprcted tht alot but hospital needs better parking like a garage or something because i spent more time looking for parking than my actual appntment

My 90 year old Mom needed hip surgery. Thankful for the amazing care at Goid Sam. They took care of Mom with compassion and hard work. Thanks to the whole team if Dr’s and nurses! The best!

I see all this bad reviews but I think it’s cause they had nothing better to do then go to the hospital for a simple cut or something that can be taking care of at home.... I had surgery here few days ago and I was treated very well as soon as I arrived for numbness they helped me right away and put me into a bed did a CT, MRIs and blood work EKG and ect..the next day I had surgery cause they had found something serious everyone took action and helped me as much as they can the CNAs, RNs and Surgeons were absolutely AMAZING!!! i don’t care what other people think I was in good hands and that’s my opinion THANK YOU! again the service was good thank you for taking care of me.

Asu south is amazing! i spend a week there and i didn’t have to ask for anything or complain. They were above and beyond amazing staff. The staff was always doing something for someone and not once sitting there on their phone. I did not even feel like i was in a hospital fyi which i hate hospitals., but this one i hated to leave.

I delivered my first child at Good Samaritan recently and I cannot say enough great things about this hospital, doctors, nurses and staff. All of the nurses that took care of me in the delivery room, recovery room and postpartum room were amazing. Their patience, kindness and knowledge were only some of the positive qualities we experienced. All of the nurses took amazing care of me (and my husband too) with our questions, fears, happiness and anxieties of having our first child. They were so warm, caring and gentle with mine and my baby’s needs. Also, the food at this hospital was amazing too!! They always made sure we were fed for all meals and even treated us to a “celebratory meal for two” where we enjoyed some delicious surf and turf! It was delicious!! Thank you Good Sam for your amazing experience!! We appreciate you!

I had my first baby there via emergency C-section and all I can said is that I am extremely great-full for how I was treated. First I came to the ER when my water broke I was there for maybe 10 minutes and when they took me to the 6th floor I felt very comfortable, the nurses were lovely with me and my boyfriend. My doctor, Dr. Sampino he is amazing I feel comfortable with him he makes me feel safe, when he told me he needed a C section and did not fear because I trust him. Everything went smoothly and then in the recovery room I was treated very good they are very helpful and caring. Love my experience there
