Welch House

This is only the second review I have ever written. My stay at the Welch house was so enjoyable and exceptional I was moved to comment on it.

First of all, Judy is a wonderfully engaging, enjoyable host. She made me feel right at home and was a pleasure to interact with. The house itself is so appealing. It strikes the balance perfectly between sustaining the original look and feel of the house while providing the modern creature comforts we desire.

The bedroom was comfortable and contained everything I could have asked for. It met my every need and even met some things that I loved, but never would have thought of on my own.

I can honestly say I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will not even consider staying anywhere else should I come to the area again.

Gorgeous house with so much charm! Comfy bed, great water pressure, spotlessly clean and delicious breakfast! So many nice thoughtful little touches from coffee in your room to earplugs on the dresser. Absolutely loved our stay. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. Can’t recommend the Welch Irish House enough.

From the moment you enter, this place feels like home. Judy is very accommodating to all guests and offers suggestions of the best restaurants in town! The breakfast is always incredible with farm fresh eggs and local ingredients. The rooms are cozy with fireplaces and electric blankets. Overall, unforgettable experience! Thank you Judy! Would very much recommend to anyone staying in the area. And you have to try the sticky buns for breakfast, they are incredible!

Judy was warm and welcoming, my room was comfy and well equipped, and breakfast was delicious (featuring local products and farm-fresh eggs). I loved sitting out on the front porch on a spring evening.

My husband and I stayed there over Christmas 2012 in order to visit his family. It was beautiful! Judy is one of the warmest and most thoughtful ladies. She was inviting, entertaining, kind and the room and food were both 'top shelf'. I would not hesitate in the least to recommend her beautiful home and B n B. Don't give it a second thought, just book with Judy. The location is ideal, the rooms beautiful, the beds very comfortable, the furnishings lovely, the ensuite bathroom were generous and the towels plush. Ensure you are up for breakfast, it's the best and all farm fresh! The entire experience was fantastic...from booking to good-byes it was a first class experience.

This place was great! It was such a pleasure staying there--comfy beds, nice shower, dynamite breakfast and a great host! Judy was so accommodating to my family--I have an elderly father and she made sure he had everything he needed in his room. And, the breakfast was to die for! Can't stop thinking about those fresh eggs--they tasted delicious! I'd highly recommend this place to any wayward souls.

Absolutely perfect stay! Judy, the inn keeper, is truly wonderful. Excellent COVID protocols, comfy beds, beautiful and clean house, terrific breakfast. Easy parking and lovely area. We will be back.!

I stayed in the incredible Obrien room. The house is so pretty, homey and welcoming. Everything was fantastic, Judy is a wonderful host and made me feel like a loved family member. Absolutely a great place to stay!

Reasonable prices, very close walk to the square in town with several restaurants and bars. Beautiful little town very nice people. Breakfast is amazing. Judy is a great host.
