Eel Weir State Park

We camped here for the first time in late July 2021. HIGHLY IMPRESSED AND RECOMMENDED! Our family camps A LOT and this state park is now one of our favorites. It is small, beautiful, and right on the Oswegatchie River. Great fishing!!! The park workers are friendly, and the sites and views are impressive. See pictures!!! We stayed on site 11.

This was an amazing place the grounds
were really groomed this was a great place for fishing. The park ranger Richard was very helpful answered all our questions we didn’t know the area but he helped us out also came by our site later to see if we found everything. He was really helpful and went out of his way.

This is such a nice clean lil tranquil park. We loved it here.

Great little park with a friendly staff. It's well kept, very nice bathroom/shower house. We chose it for access to fish the river and quaintness, and happy with our choice. No hook ups or dump station but we seldom hook up to them any ways being self contained. Not recommended for large units or larger boats as the ramp is small.

We love Eel weir, It's quiet peaceful good fishing. The park staff are friendly and park is well kept. We are so happy with the new playground area hoping it continues with new shower house and electric sites. We have waited patiently for our little slice of heaven to come into the twentieth century

Great campground, the staff are very accomdating. Nice location on the Oswegatcie River just outside Heuvelton and Ogdensburg. Great fishing access to Oswegatcie River; and if you have a watercraft, Indian River and Black Lake. The convergence of both of these rivers is about a few miles upstream from the campground, good place for night-fishing. This campground is small and is a great choice for those looking for a place that's quieter and less crowded.

Hasn't changed much. I grew up on Lost Village Road. Came her often as a child with my parents and with my Girl Scout Troop. I miss it!!

Great little campground saw an osprey hunting for breakfast and dinner one day. Beautiful large bird
