Stopped by today for the first time because I'm on a sudden comic book kick and was definitely not disappointed. Great selection here, the two guys running the place today, Matt and Josh were both really welcoming and cool to talk to. Acknowledge me soon as I walked in which was great. Also very knowledgeable about the hobby. Got a great deal on quite a few things that I wasn't initially expecting. I was pretty much a kid in a candy store in this place, will most definitely return!

As a comic enthusiast, the question of a shop's quality is not scaled on bad to good; rather it is a question of great to excellent. I can say with confidence that this falls in the latter category. The staff was communicative, helpful and friendly. Really great pricing and an incredible selection. The staff went above and beyond to help us search for some rather obscure titles and even looked with us. You definitely need to make your way over here. You could easily spend a whole day getting lost in the inventory.

I've been going to Capitol City Comics for a decade now and it's never stopped being great.
Even with the loss of the original owner Tony, the place is still awesome. Some things don't change.

Popped in for a really quick visit. My friend matt suggested the place while i was in the area. I quickly located where everything was and was impressed with how organised backfill was and how fairly priced it was. Will plan on coming back again next time im in the columbus area.

Capital City is so much more than your average comic shop! With a generous and varying selection of new issues, plus one of the best assortments of back issues and runs, there is something here for every taste. But you do not have to limit yourself to comics. They also offer collectibles from action figures to maquettes. If you are a fanatic for anything pop culture, you can easily spend an hour just browsing.

Tony and Wes are knowledgeable about every form of entertainment and can steer you towards titles that fits your taste. Add to that - they are just fun to chat with. They offer pull service for those of us who just can’t stand to miss an issue and have been able to order me issues on some older titles.

Whether you are an avid collector or a novice wanting to break into the comic world, Capital City should be your “go to” shop. A true gem in the Columbus area. Excelsior!

It's been a while since I've been to Capitol City Comics, and this was my first visit to the new location. Same great selection, same great prices. The only thing about my visit that wasn't great was Tony was off that day, and I always enjoy chatting with him. Keep up the great work guys, hopefully it won't be another long wait until my next visit.

Wonderful shop with a huge history of the Columbus comic book scene. This is always my go to place.

Great little shop nice people...some stuff is over priced but they will do deals if asked...plenty of good stock lots of great books

Tony and his staff are always on top of it!!!! Very knowledgeable and fair pricing . I've been shopping in his store for years and have built and completed many different collections from this store over the years and it's the nice safe atmosphere and cool calm and collective attitude of Tony and his staff that keeps me coming back. This is a safe Invirorment that's family friendly for all types of collectors Young and old.

Awesome shop, great selection and some good deals some of the time. Occasional high prices on a few items but for the most part prices are good.

Trading comic store. It's nice to find a comic shop that still focuses primarily on comics

These guys are always a pleasure to shop. They know what's up, non-judgemental, happy to help you with whatever you want.

Friendly, helpful clerk. Reasonable selection of uncommon books. Managed to score a Todd McFarlane autographed copy of Spawn issue 6 in minty condition. Would definitely recommend this store to fellow collectors.

Best comic shop in Ohio. Don't get to visit unless I'm driving through from Indiana but the staff is super friendly and the selection is great and always changing

I got back into comics just the last couple of years. At first it seemed pretty overwhelming because there are so many books and I didn't know where to start. Luckily I have Capital City Comics to go to. Their staff have always been welcoming and friendly. They are always willing to answer questions and are very helpful. They're willing to go above and beyond and I can tell they appreciate each of their customers. They also have a great selection of all things comic related both popular and indie. You never have to worry about if they have something in stock because on the rare occasion, you just have to ask. They are always more than willing to try to accommodate you. Overall Capital City Comics is a really fun place to go to and I always look forward to it. Their customer service is top notch and their selection is consistently great. I would recommend it to anyone interested in anything comic related.
