Chez Pierre

I would ignore the bad reviews, not a one I read was accurate. This is a high end French restaurant in a rather odd location. It's not a cheap diner as it first presents, no it's really a genuine and lovely French eatery. The prices perhaps could be cheaper not were the dishes anything new. It was true classic French cuisine, made well. I should note the bar is also lovely, the aperol spritz was great. This is a fantastic date night or fancy occasion. Avoid it if you are looking for cheap country eats, you are coming here to get some real and well made food.

We had a wonderful meal. It was pork picatta. Delicious and my husband had sirloin tips. The service was great. Never had my table immaculately cleaned off before desert. Just loved the whole experience.

This is my cousin’s restaurant (not biased…lol).

They’ve served excellent food for years. Try the Pork Paupiette. It’s filled with spinach and cheese - and very tender. Salads and other courses are awesome as well.

Great service all around. Stop in if you’re anywhere in the area. It’s worth it.

This is beef wellington. We visit Chez Pierre every year for for mothers day. Always great service, and delicious French cuisine.

Check Pierre is a must visit every time we visit the area. Great French cuisine in generous portions, quaint atmosphere, always a delight. One potential minor improvement would be warm bread or dinner rolls. Still, the sliced bread is fresh, and they provided us additional bread when we asked to dip in the marvelous sauces of our appetizers and dinners.

The Beef Wellington was absolutely outstanding. One of the best I’ve had. The hostess sat us at a nice quiet table and the service was excellent. A great dinner experience!

The food is the best in the area. It is pricey but worth every $.

Meal was perfect. Grew up with French cooking at home. Brought smiles and memories of home. Going back soon.

Just such a quaint place to eat. We went to bar for drinks and then had a lovely dinner. Waiter was very attentive to our needs and the staff is so friendly. A new place we just love to go to!

We have dined here often but was our first since the pandemic. Excellent steak au poivre with filet, a good House Cabernet, crepes Suzanne for dessert, very tasty. The sides, haricots and potato au gratin, were good.

Truly one of the best restaurants in Saratoga! Great service, amazing food and ample parking. The duck with cherries is outstanding. We recommend EvERYTHING.

Although just the second time we've been to Chez Pierre it has now become one of our favorite places. This time we celebrated sister-in-law's wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. Everything from the wine, appetizers, entrées and desert were wonderful. The rack of lamb was excellent as were the veal dishes which were a good size portion. Service was very good and well paced. Definitely will be going back.

Our big group felt like we were the only ones there. Someone always there when we needed it. Food was so good. Worth the price.

I have wanted to come to this spot for years .. so my sons purchased a generous gift certificate for this restaurant a couple of years ago. Sadly my husband died this past year so of course it has been a tough year. My son and dil took me there for an early dinner after a visit to my husband's grave which was so emotional to say the least. We did make it to dinner and the experience was amazing. It was French in every sense of the word, the food was a pure culinary experience, and our server was professional and very pleasant. The visit was planned at the perfect time and I now have a wonderful experience that I will always treasure, Thank you Chez Pierre.I definitely plan on returning.and highly recommend this charming restaurant just slightly off the beaten path but so worth it!

We just had a great meal at Chez Pierre. Our waiter was attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. The food was wonderful. I got the special which was a pretty large lobster, taken out of the shell, with butter. My husband ordered Chicken Chez Pierre which he thoroughly enjoyed. Dinner included salad (delicious homemade dressing), augratin potatoes and corn on the cob. A refreshing fruit sorbet finished our dinner. This is an authentic French Restaurant in a beautiful setting conveniently located on Route 9. It is worth the short, scenic drive.
