Dixon Roadside

Sweet roadside spot in Woodstock/the Catskills. Love the building, so we had to stop in for a mid-afternoon local beer and some fries. Both great! One improvement would be to teach the servers about the local products served. I feel they were under informed and under enthusiastic but definitely friendly. We were there after lunch and before dinner so it was not crowded. Great prices and atmosphere.

Stopped by because the food sounded delicious based on the menu. We had the buttermilk fried chicken with mashed potatoes and corn bread. As well as the Dixon burger with fries and Mac and cheese.

Everything was amazing ! The hot honey and chicken are to die for! Would recommend to anyone if you’re in town or live close by ! Great selection of draft beers as well.

I love this place! I love the building and the design. I love BBQ but more so the sides and not so much the protein however Everything is delicious. It's not on the main street in Woodstock, which I am so happy about. You don't have the constant hustle and bustle. Vibe is great!

Food was decent just didn't like that there was peanuts on my sandwich and the menu didn't specify they would be on it. Not good if someone has an allergy. Otherwise it was good. Nice staff

First time in Woodstock and first time having dinner in Woodstock. And Dixon Roadside did not disappoint. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors for family, friends or even coming in for date night which I did with my boyfriend. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. Everything I loved about this place - comfort food, good portion side meats and sides, and the best of all - good selection of cocktails and beers.

So glad my gf and I stopped and tried this place after a nice hike. The food was amazing. We had a burger, a chicken sandwich with sides of Potato wedges and an amazing tasting biscuit. We also had an amazing desert that was basically local Ronny brook soft serve ice cream with apple cider and cinnamon. They also have a great local beer variety. I ordered an IPA on tap (forgot to ask what companyit was) and my gf ordered a limeade type drink. Both fantastic. The atmosphere was very cool. It's very open, like a giant garage with 2 of the doors open for outdoor patio seating. And a nice bar on the inside. Hope to make it up to this place again this summer. Chill music choices too.

The food was great and the restaurant experience was very unique. I had the Pulled Pork Sandwich and the peppers, onions, and pork came together to make awesome flavor. The restaurant is unique too because instead of waiting for a waiter you order at the front and find a table. Also the patio is so nice if you came here at night and saw the sunset. I recommend this place to people who like salads and sandwiches.

Dixon burger is absolutely a top five burger I've ever had. Fries are seasoned with cumin (what a simple but great idea!). Decent beer selection. Loved it, go there

Really friendly and excellent service. We got the brisket, grilled mahi mahi, and an ice cream sundae. The brisket w the ancho bbq sauce was delicious and so tender that you could pull it apart with your fork. The mahi mahi was well-seasoned and also cooked perfectly.

Dixon has a good selection of beers and cocktails, and (to our surprise) had a wide range of mocktails as well.

I’d definitely recommend this for dinner if you’re in the area. It got busy around 7pm but service is still pretty quick.

Great BBQ spot for a relaxed meal. Order at the counter and they serve you at the table. The bbq sauce here is so delicious and the half chicken was very moist. Even the green salad was fantastic.

😍 Came with our dogs on the patio and had a great experience! Portions are massive and all the food and brews were delicious. Service was super welcoming and attentive, and the dogs got some love and water as well :)

The daily Corned Beef on rye special was 🧑‍🍳😌 and the ice cream was from Ronnybrook — makers of Big Gay soft serve. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area 👌

I keep coming back - twice in the last month after hiking in the area. Everything has been great - love the patio space. Burger was amazing. I was a bit apprehensive about ordering the brisket, but it was also amazing. Highly recommend.

Scenic and delicious! Our food was out instantly, and every item was outstanding. The mocktails rocked, and staff was super friendly. Will absolutely be back!

Monday evenings are always a challenge when looking for dining options. So glad we braved the stormy weather and got to enjoy such a great meal and the relaxed vibe at the Dixon. Excellent cocktails at the bar and Comfort food that was just right. I loved the fried chicken! We will be back soon to work our way through all the other dinner options and sides combinations.

Stopped for lunch on their outside patio with our dog. Everyone was super nice and made us feel welcome. The trout burger was delicious as were the Brussels sprouts. We will come back!
