Indian Pines Park

It's a nice spot with a big playground and lots of grills for picnics. Later in the day it has a beautiful view of the sunset.

The kids specifically request to come to Indian Pines when given a choice of what park to go to. The swimming area is nice (though it was not open the last time we visited (June 1, 2021). It also has an updated and fun playground. The bathrooms are open. As is the gazebo, which is very large and free to use.

I was happy to see that the park is taking care of the bees. A nest must have been found and they are allowing it to move to a box to be moved elsewhere instead of spraying. I think that is wonderful and highly respectable.

Beautiful little jem of a beach with NO TOURIST'S!! Playground, bbqs and lifeguard, the view is amazing !

Family- friendly park with swimming area, play ground, volleyball net, and more! On busy days parking can be challenging to find. Great view of Kauka Lake!

We love Indian pines park. It is a carry in-carry out park and it looks like it's been cleaned up since last time we were visiting. Beautiful drive, Great spot for lake access in Penn yan. The people enjoying the park and locals are very nice! Restrooms and picnic tables with grills available. Good spot for a day away or afternoon park hangout.

Great waterfront setting. Families were out despite temperatures in upper 30s.

A nice meadow right on the beach with a play area for kids too. There are camping benches suitable for a picnic. The view is lovely. It was too quiet during the weekday at this time of the year, only private boats were visible. It could be different in the peak season.

Cute little water front park, has very nice playground!

I love to take my daughter here. There are always other kids for her to play with and I can also fish there although it hasn't been productive this year. There is also a beach and after the ice cream stand is right up the road.

A great spot to enjoy lunch with a nice lake view. Even the bees there didn’t seem too aggressive. A lot of tables and benches for a park of its size. No garbage can so be prepared to take your trash with you.

Very clear water, quiet park, and tucked away in the cute town of penn yan.

I was at Indian Pines Park early in the morning. It was peaceful with no other visitors. The lake was shimmering in the sun while gentle waves lapped the shore. What a wonderful way to start the day!

Went to the park for a triathlon. It was a very rainy morning, so we didn't see much of the park, but the lake was clean and there was a little swimming area.

Plenty of shade and a nice breeze off of the lake! It has a nice playground for kids to play on. Free picnic tables to eat at and a free pavilion.

Really nice park been coming here since I was a kid. Great kid friendly playground. Nice swimming area and plenty of grills for your picnic.
