You'd be hard pressed to find a cafe with better food than this! This breakfast burrito is massive!

Absolutely love this cafe there food is amazing. You could never go wrong with the scones to begin. And top off with there meat lover plate. Don’t forget to ask for there home made salsa it gives the food the final touch.. One of my favorite breakfast spots in town. Super friendly staff and always smiling. Make sure you get there early it gets busy, just because its that amazing.. they have a forever satisfied customer…

Breakfast burrito was huge and delicious (get double meat if order it), scones were fantastic, garden scramble was great, and the #4 (biscuits and gravy with eggs and bacon) fantastic!

I don't recommend and big party, suggest taking the order to go, and be patient, the place was very busy on a Sunday morning. **Closed Saturday**

Best pancakes I’ve ever had. Order the cinnamon and granola pancakes! Also the best gravy on the biscuits we’ve had. The wait was only 15 min to be seated and all the food came hot. The pancakes are huge by the way. You may be good with just ordering one.

We LOVE this place and it's been our go-to breakfast joint for years now. We get the French toast combo and Denver omelet smothered in Ranchero sauce all the time, and they're so reliably great and yummy and filling. Breakfast is a definite win here.

But wait ✋--I finally went there for lunch and finally had their garlic burger. I have now found my lunch burger joint. Holy smokes that garlic burger was so garlicky, I'm warding of vampires very effectively now! It was delicious! It was probably the best garlic burger I've ever had. And you can't beat the price too!

And the staff--from owner Janet to the cooks to the wait staff--are stellar! Just kind, good natured, and hard working people! You will have a great experience grabbing a bite to eat!

Perfect place for a Saturday breakfast/brunch. Their chorizo breakfast tacos are something special and I love their raspberry rolls. It's a very small place, so get their early or expect a wait even for a party of 2-4. Not sure if they would be able to handle parties bigger than 4, but I'd be darned if they didn't put on a smile and feed whatever size of party you have a real good breakfast.

We also had there granola pancake that was the best pancake i have ever had..

Great experience all around. The portions are HUGE and priced well. The service was super friendly and attentive - my coffee was always full. Will definitely go back. Try the cinnamon rolls!!

This was our first time and we were able to walk right in. It was a weekday around 1:15pm - we had driven by and wanted to try it for a while. It did not disappoint! It’s a cute local joint with a diner feel. It’s definitely a small place so I’d recommend going right when it opens or on the weekdays. The waitresses were attentive and amazing and the food was DELICIOUS and affordable! We got the meat lovers classic and biscuit and gravy. Our favorite was the meat lovers classic- probably the best hash ever. Highly recommend! We’ll be coming back!

Really great place, would come again. Burgers taste great and you can get them before 10am which is amazing.

Lots of people know how good this place is and pack it full. Was about $43 out the door for two people with drinks.

I adore this quirky-shaped, tiny little diner, & wanted to have my birthday breakfast here. I was worried because it can take a while to be seated(we had a schedule to keep), but Wed at 10:15am was the perfect time!
We sat down & opened the menus - be prepared to make hard choices! Everything we got was delicious, & the portions are HUGE! The biscuits & gravy breakfast was spot on, sones were FRESH & tasty & not greasy AT ALL, the pancakes ginormous & fluffy, hearty ham & cheese melt, the yogurt parfait had a generous amount of berries & house granola. But the granola pancake…? That is the stuff that dreams are made of!!
The staff was very attentive, friendly, & accommodating.
My kids thanked me for sharing this wonderful breakfast spot with them!
As we left, we were tempted by the humongous homemade rolls (cinnamon, berry, & orange), but decided we were too full. We ALL took food home. But that leaves something to be tasted next time!
*Be warned - it can be busy, & because it’s tight quarters, groups of 5+ are challenging to accommodate. Five us were squished at a table for 4 over by the bathroom. But it’s totally worth the wait, & the discomfort!

5 Stars, Grat breakfast, the meatlovers classic was definitely the thing to get, huge portions and excellent quality food. The orange cinnamon roll and breakfast burrito were just as awesome, and tasty. Must try place, service was great.

Great home cooking breakfast nook. Awesome feel. Fairly small. Great service and food. Love the decor. There is a lot of fun quotes and sayings all over the place. They have complimentary suckers for the children. This is a need to stop by place while you are in salt lake. Also, inexpensive with big portions.

Best biscuits and gravy I have ever had! Definitely will be back to try some other items.

Edited to add that after coming back multiple times, Janet’s had possibly the best burger and fries in the state. Absolutely astounding. The quality here is next level, everything from the pancakes to the sandwiches are simply fantastic.

This is a wonderful little breakfast spot when you are in the neighborhood. The dining room is small and you may need to wait on a table but the service is exceptional and the breakfast offerings are outstanding! They run very good daily specials. I had their version of breakfast hash with sausage patties and a great chile verde sauce.

Such an amazing cafe! Appreciate their kind service while waiting to be seated was offered coffee or water which is just amazing I've never had that experience. GREAT FOOD 10/10 WOULD RECOMEND

Tried out Janet's and the service was amazing! Coffee and soda was always filled. Big portions of food and it all was really tasty. Place is a little small but very cozy and charming. Do yourself a favor and try them out.

Great cafe/diner feel. Went with my son for bearkfast. The pancakes were massive, the syrup was hot and the meat lovers hashbrowns were excellent. Pancakes were 1/2 inch thick. Scones were not my type of flavor so I will pass on those next time. Overall I'd definitely back. These local places are harder to find. I could only eat half the plate of food. I took the rest home.

I dont normally leave reviews but there bacon burger was the best i have ever had and the lemonade tastes fresh the wait time is pretty good as well the service was really they came to check on you reasonably and there were a lot of tea choices as well as the biscuits and gravy were really good too
