Showboat Hotel

This hotel was amazing. Customer service was the best. Any time I needed something they were right there. If you are visiting here I highly recommend.

Our group has been going here for 45 years and wasn't sure what to expect with ownership change. Yet thankfully with all the office Manger Aleesha did for our group made a smooth transition and incredible weekend . We look forward to working with Aleesha and the great staff at the Showboat for our stay next year . Thank you from all of us for all the hard work the staff put into making our stay so enjoyable. The renovations were well done and rooms super clean and comfortable .

Can’t say enough about how wonderful we were treated by all the staff. The food was fantastic. Many thanks to the Chef for visiting us and discussing the experience. Once again, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Shout to Abby our server, such a sweetheart.

Perfect spot tucked away at the SW end of Seneca Lake, this is THE Lake vacation destination u can soak up the beauty that is Seneca Lake (My personal fav of the finger lakes), rent a boat, chill by the pool, make smores by a cmap fire & make sure u check out the Windmill Farm & Craft Market while ur here!

I love staying here the rooms were very clean and loved the new renovations!!! The food was amazing sat and ate on the dock side I’d come back that’s for sure!! The people there are sweet and well mannered

Wow, I was pleasantly surprised and found it very nice experience all round, from the room ( which seemed to have been recently remodeled ) to the restaurant, which seemed to be reopening with new food and managers. The only let down was having to leave, but I think I found a hidden gem that I know I will be returning too!

First time we visited, and we all agreed that it's definitely on our list to return to. The food and drinks were good, the staff was friendly and there was a lot of shade on that hot summer day. They had a large tent set up for the band that was playing there and lots of dock space for the customers that arrived by boat. There was really a good vibe and a nice breeze out on the deck. We will be back! :)

Truly a hidden gem. We had a beautiful room with a lake view. The owners are fantastic people, very accommodating. I wish the weather had not taken a turn for the worse or we would have stayed longer. The restaurant and bar staff are over the top and the food is good and reasonable as well. I can't wait for next year, see you then. Almost forgot, I woke up and was having my morning coffee, sitting out on the deck enjoying the morning and I got a firsthand look at a Bald Eagle chase a Blue Herron off of the dock WOW!!!

Hidden gem. Amazing experience. Kids loved the pool. I love complimentary meals. Great wine. Great service.

Awesome owners and staff. Went there during an outing for my sister-in-laws bachelorette party and it literally MADE THE WEEKEND! The regulars are kind and fun. The owner made sure we had a DD before serving us. They didn’t mind us being crazy girls and encouraged our fun time. Wishing these great people all the best with their awesome business.

This was our 1st visit and we loved it. We arrived by boat and our server Peyton was fantastic. The food was good and the drinks reasonably priced. Great having this place on the lake. Wish there were more like it!

This place is the heart and soul of Seneca Lake. The staff and new owners are welcoming and friendly. The food is good, great outdoor deck with gorgeous view. My entire family ( kids, young adults and parents) enjoys coming here. We love the atmosphere and always have a great time. We intend to come back often!

Staff is excellent, super friendly make you feel like home. Atmosphere is full of fun loving people. Excellent new ownership. Highly recommend for a younger crowd looking to get away for some scenery. Definitely will come back.

We had such a great time staying here. To be located so close to the lake with all of the accommodations you would need was perfect. The restaurant was delicious, the bar had a great selection of drinks (we’re craft beer drinkers and appreciated the variety of local beers), KENO!, the servers were excellent and friendly, live music on the dock Friday and Saturday nights, a pool.. plus we walked to another nearby restaurant, Sapalta for delicious food as well. Last time we came to the Finger Lakes, we were so remote it was a challenge to even get food. This was a great home base after touring all day - the fun didn’t stop and we had everything we needed. Plus, the room price was great in comparison to some of the nearby AirBnBs. As a note to some of the negative reviews - we knew what we were getting based on the website and our expectations were managed ahead of time. We stayed in a room overlooking the pool and never expected it to be a Four Seasons. Overall, we would absolutely return.

Stayed 3 nights for a delightful getaway.... New owner Mark was extremely professional and understanding when we informed him about a mattress situation, he did exactly what Any caring business owner would do and UPGRADED US TO A LOVELY LAKEFRONT room for our 3rd night.... refused to charge us the higher fee .... despite some picky, demanding and frankly rude reviews, we definitely will be back. All the staff were kind, accommodating and trying their best to help the new owners make this a fun and memorable place for many years to come... so CUT THESE HARD WORKING PEOPLE A BREAK and if you have nothing reasonably fair/kind to comment on just hush 🤫

EXTREMELY accommodating and friendly staff. The co-owner Mark was fantastic and welcomed our group of rambunctious girls with open arms. Beautiful patio and all-around well-kept bar.

It is a very good hotel. Inside the hotel we are in it is very nice wood walls and the owners are super nice. The only negative thing is that the bar downstairs is very obnoxious and people are there till 1 am partying drunk. That is the only negative thing. There is one more nice thing. When you look out of your balcony you have a nice look outside.
