Excellent College bar that plays by the rules. They run a tight ship but the results are a very CLEAN safe bar for people to relax in! Open late too which is boss. Shout out to J Viola 😉 $1 jello shots

This place is great! The smell of stale beer and regret stings your nose as you enter. Brings me right back to my undergrad days of way too much Natural Light and way too little sleep.

Anyway, the deals are phenomenal ($2 draft beer all the time). Nothing fancy, but you can have a good time for single digits on the bill. Any college kid should be down for that.

Side note: $4 for a glass of Barefoot wine (Cab, Merlot, Chardonnay). This place really has it all.

They have a display of classic Cincinnati beer cans that would rival any collection.

1 pool table, 3 dart boards, TouchTunes. The usual bar entertainment.

Pretty typical UC area bar, at least on weekend nights (cheap shots, young crowd, a bit louder - not a problem, but not really my vibe either). Bar service was on point tho. Since it's a sports bar close to restaurants that I've been meaning to try, I'll give it another shot during happy hour (or when there's a game to watch).

Great spot, gets full but usually not too crowded to get a drink in a reasonable amount of time. Staff is the best. Super nice and laid back quick on orders. Karaoke on Fridays with DJ Kev is the bomb!!! Prices are cheap typical good ol college bar deals.

This bar is about as close as it gets to having a beer at home in the best ways. Typically bars in clifton are rowdy and full of college kids screaming about how drunk they are, there's nothing typical about Tavern. Decent prices, nice staff, and always a few regulars to talk to. This bar is a staple of the neighborhood.

Kyle, the manager*, is a total nerd but he does the bar thing right. They have trivia and karaoke nights, good HH deals, darts, free pool on Sunday and sometimes even free chili on Bengals' game days. Weekends during the school year it can get pretty crowded of course but not impossible to walk through.

Love the karaoke on Thursday nights, DJ Kev is the man. Energy is great everytime my friends and I go. Drinks priced well too!

If you’ve heard of Paddy’s Pub, then this is the Clifton equivalent. The lighting is just dim enough to make you doubt the reality of the world, but with the ambience of a bar with great soul. The bartenders are ambivalent enough to leave you feeling like they don’t care, but love that you’re here, as long as you’re cool. The music is not popular, but they don’t care and it makes you want to be part of the crew.
Sometimes I see Danny Devito out of the corner of my eye here and think “RIP Danny Devito,” his soul lives on here

Justin is the best bartendar. Nice mellow place to hang with friends when you don't feel like going out with the teeny boppers. Open setting. Free Wifi. Great prices.

Thursday night karaoke is sure entertain you

Sam is great. Strong vodka lemonade, strong conversation Couldn’t ask for anything more.
