Glen replaced several outlets in our “kitchen annex” that were worn out and painted over, and relocated one higher up on the wall closer to a worktable surface so that our appliance plugs could reach. He also replaced a grubby looking combination light switch/GFCI in our bathroom. We were planning to have these things done in an upcoming big job, but plugs were truly falling out of some of these outlets, and it was too inconvenient and potentially hazardous to wait months with full service contractors being so busy. Since Glen only does these small, simple jobs, he got back to me in less than a day to schedule and was actually available sooner than I was. Five days after getting in touch, this is finally off my to-do list. Very friendly, communicative, and provides a great value.

Glenn helped my house hold with in a hour bad three electrical problems fixed one of them I didn't even know about nd didn't over charge me. He was pleasant company and I would recommend him highly as a veteran I barely ever recommend anybody because most of them want my money this gentleman was more than fair. This company is amazing. I called today regarding our foyer light. It was not working. Hooked up to same switch as upstairs lights that were working. Ended up being a loose wire in one of upstairs lights causing issue downstairs. He was quick and fit me in this morning. Reasonable price! He even fixed a cracked plate upstairs. I would highly recommend this company!

Glen is the MAN! I live in Bexley. Had a very annoying problem I could not troubleshoot, and also wanted some light fixtures hung. His prices are fair. His work is great. He is a very intelligent person, and educated me (I love to learn all I can about electricity - I didn't pay attention in 8'th grade shop). He is prompt. He works very clean (when was last time you had someone work in your home that brought his own shop vac in?). So....yes obviously we highly recommend him (and p.s. I am picky who works in my home).

Glen solved issues other people with experience could not solve. He's seen enough screwy DIY to know how to figure out what went wrong and how to fix it. He's also just a terrific human being; extremely friendly, like having your dad over.

We had two outlets die at our house. My husband and our neighbor tried to fix it but couldn't figure out what was wrong. I called Excel Electric and he said look for a GFI switch to reset. It turns out we have a GFI in our garage it was hidden by our son's senior banner. So he helped me fix it just by a phone call. That shows honesty and a desire not to just make money. Good character has been hard for us to find amoung larger contracting companies. We will definitely call him again for work.

Fantastic service! When I called to inquire about services the electrician wasn't available at the moment. The assistant was helpful in suggesting that I await a return phone call. I called Glen from Excel Electrical because I needed a second light switch at the base of our basement stairs. Glen quoted us a great price, (much more reasonable than others) and came out the next day to install the switch. He was polite, professional, quick, on-time and neat. Great Service! I called a friend of mine and asked for an honest electrician to fix our melted outlet that caused 3 rooms to lose power. I told him if we needed to wait a couple days that we could. He knew our child's room was also without electric. He came right out within an hour! Found out it was just the outlet. I was so worried I was going to get advice that my entire house needed rewired or something. He even vacuumed his mess afterwards. I have never seen a contractor do that. Glenn was great, he fixed our "requests to remedy" quickly and was super helpful to ensure it was done right. No scare tactics for unnecessary work either, understood differences between new builds and older homes.

Had a problem with my furnace and after several "high dollar" estimates, Glen Copeland was able to fix my problem with a simple actuator switch which cost less than 20.00 and install was next to nothing! Glen followed up to make sure that the heat was on and that everything was in working order! Excellent customer service and very professional! I found Excel Electrical services searching for electricians in the Columbus area and decided to set up an appt to have a new kitchen light fixture installed and some dimmer switches installed. I have never hired an electrician before so this was a first for me.
It turned out to be one of the best decisions I've ever made. Glen was professional, friendly, reasonable, and was a master in his craft. I will be hiring him again for future work for sure!!
