Oakwood Management Company

In full transparency, this is the first company I’ve ever leased from but I’m very grateful for them, they have made life a little easier for me.
At my community they are helpful, efficient, fast, and if I’ve had a problem they have made things easy on me.

During my leasing I had an accident and 3 brain injury’s that set me back financially and physically in turn lost a job and had to pay late a few times and the clear policy’s they have in place helped navigating decisions about my tenancy easy. There are late fees of course but understanding their course of action in the case of late rent made my situation predictable and manageable. I’m at Kensington and have had most interactions with the manager there, name is Lauren, couldn’t ask for a better manager, she reply’s super quick and she’s thoughtful. I don’t know if all company’s are this well managed or if oakwood is superior but I’ll probably stay with you as long as I’m renting apartments because you guys have set the standard and I know I’m dealing with a well managed company with clear policys and helpful staff. Thank you for making time after my accident a little bit easier with your policy’s because I have the wisdom to know it could have went differently without the flexibility of my lease. And thank you for a beautiful clean community and hiring people like lauren and the rest of the staff at Kensington at Riggins run.

Albany Glen staff are simply stellar. The maintenance team is just the same. I do want to buy a home again one day, but I take great comfort in knowing that in the meantime, I am taken care of at Albany Glen. They treat me as if I am not “just a number” (and trust me, there’s a lot of “numbers” in this HUGE complex!). I feel like they really do care about each and every resident, and they are…. Just human. They are proof that humanity does still exist, which we all know is incredibly hard to come by these days.

Moving to Gables was a great choice! Carmen is great and the maintenance team is efficient. Sometimes tenants can be noisy and don’t clean up after their pets, but I see the team does a great job at handling these situations! For the price it is a nice property and close to everything.

I love living at the Wendell! The office and maintenance staff is extremely helpful and kind. The complex is always clean and well kept. The only thing I would like to see is some updates to the gym equipment :) However, this point does not detract from how great this property is!

I have been renting with Oakwood Management Company (Albany Corners) for just over 3 weeks but so far my experience with them had been nothing but amazing. When my family and I came to view our complex I knew right away we would be moving here. The application process and move in process was very seamless. Dinika the property manager is very professional and helpful with any questions that we had leading up to us moving in and even once we were here. We love the club house & 24 hour fully functioning gym. The facility is super pet friendly and we have enjoyed meeting various neighbors. My husbands favorite perk is that when placing a work order request we receive a signed copy of the order so that we know that someone was in our home and our issue has been addressed. So far we give Oakwood a 5 star rating!

I have been living in one of their complexes for several years. Management and Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. The community and grounds are beautifully maintained at all times. The swimming pool and work out facility is beautiful. There are two very nice dog parks. Snow removal in the winter is done in a timely manner. The units are priced fairly and are very nice to live in and compares well to condo communities near by , some units have attached garages and some have detached garages..

I live in Asherton of Dublin apartments and really love it here. The green-space is beautiful and very well maintained. It's a quiet neighborhood with excellent schools easily within walking distance. The pool is awesome. The people in the office are nice. As far as maintenance, someone usually responds to my request the same day. I have never had to wait for service. I have been here 2 years + and hope to be here much longer.

The area is kept nice and clean, minutes away and very accessible to shopping malls, the Columbus Zoo, I-270 and 315. I enjoy my neighbors who seem to look after one another and our property manager Latrice makes sure that our needs are met in a timely manner. Maintenance is very quick with work orders and the upkeep of the property is well maintained.

One of the best rental companies! We began our renting from Oakwood in 2016 living on Meadowedge Dr. In Albany Glen Apartments. Due to my sister’s health diagnosis and medical staff determining that she couldn’t do stairs I talked to staff about the issue and they very graciously allowed me to move to an apartment 3959E Knapford Dr. There we stayed for 4 years. In June 2021 we wanted to move to an apartment with laminate flooring, and again staff said Oakwood had a new apartment complex The Fenimore, we moved in and so happy! Michelle and Matt are great!

Management and maintenance is great! They're very helpful with questions, concerns and overall wanting or needing anything. The amenities
they offer for residents are awesome. The aprtment is very spacious and the layout is perfect. A downside to the apartment is that you can hear everything through the walls.

Four stars for the place and the staff here. After two years, I have had nothing but positive experiences. The place is quiet, but friendly. The rental agent here, Sherry Slater, is welcoming, personal, and professional. We all consider her a friend, and can rely on her to make sure that if something is needing attention it gets done. The maintenance staff are knowledgeable about what they are doing, from painting to repair and installation. Recently Ernie & Don installed a new furnace. It was clear that they were familiar with the details of what they were doing. They were respectful of my privacy, careful to clean up when they were done, and were open to answering any questions I had about the new furnace (which was quite different from the old one).
I would recommend this place to anyone looking to move to this area.

Been living here almost 2.5 years. The newest cleanest nicest apts in the area and it's actually cheaper than most places. Our child has great friends to play with and you can walk to a great strip mall with pretty much everything. Yet the apts are very secluded and secure. As for management, I think that depends on each apt complex not oakwood itself. I did not like the management at one of their places and so decided to move into westar which has a fantastic property manager.

My maintenance requests are handled quickly and efficiently. The complex grounds are kept neat and look well cared for. The swimming pools are well maintained. And the leasing staff is always helpful and personable.

I love living at Land Mark Lofts. Great location as I get to walk to a lot of places, heated and always clean pool, 24 hour gym that is actually great for functional training, awesome communal space, and one of the most awesome features is the FANTASTIC coffee machine that actually grinds the coffee instantly and offer a variety of hot drinks and it is free for residence.. and many more features.
The guys at the office are super helpful and they get stuff done. Been living in columbus for 5 years and every year I moved to a new place... I have been living here for 1.5 years and I am not planning on moving any time soon.

Being an elderly couple, we love living here. Well maintained and quiet. Michelle, in office had been so helpful. Always has time to listen to you. Maintenance is so helpful even changing light bulbs for us. Outside is well maintained also.

I'm just starting my 3rd year at Albany Glen and it couldn't be better!! The staff is amazing, the grounds are always perfect and the neighbors are very friendly and quiet! :-) Two pools on a hot day can't be beat either! Great place to live. 5 stars all around!!

I love this place. (Lakes of Westdale) I initially rented a one bedroom apartment for a year and then needed something bigger because my daughter needed help with nursing school. I called the office and Debbie and Carmen made it so easy for me to transition into a bigger place. The office staff are awesome! The maintenance staff are great as well and very prompt when needed.

I've now lived here twice. Once in a one bedroom and once in the two bedroom flat. I moved out orginally to go on maternity leave rent free.
The apartments are huge! Pleanty of room. Staff is amazing! Never had a problem with maintenance getting to things. This is one of the only apartments I know of with a employer preferred program thats worth it. No deposit and half of the first months rent! What?! The second time I moved in it was the middle of the month and it cost me less then $100 to move. They are a little over priced for the area but they also come with a washer and dryer & the amazing staff are worth the extra money. Did I mention its conveniently located right behind Wal-Mart!

I’ve Been at Alkire Gate for going on 3 years. Absolutely no complaints! No HUGE maintenance issues but when small things come up they respond in a timely manner. Jordan (I think? I’m sorry if I’m wrong, I’m HORRIBLE with names!) in the office is SO nice and she is helpful whenever I have questions. It’s a very quiet community with the exception of a few nosy neighbors. But hey you’ll have that everywhere and being a single woman in my 30’s it works in my favor more often than not! The lawns are always maintained and snow removal (difficult in apartment parking lots!) is timely and they do the best they can. My only irritation is porch pirates 😑. I’ve lost Amazon packages and a stone Buddha statue from my porch. Not a reflection of the company just inevitable a*holes, so I’ve learned to adjust accordingly. I’m very content here and I’ll probably stay for awhile 🙂

We love our apartment! We sold our home and needed to find a place quickly. Jennifer was very helpful in assisting us with our lease and kept us updated We met Tom the maintenance man soon after we moved him and he took the time to answer our questions and explain all the pertinent information regarding things such as trash pick up, garage door opener and etc. We are looking forward to our time here.
