Little Miami Scenic Trail Spring Valley Section

The Little Miami Scenic trail in the Spring Valley area is well cared for. The historic buildings and lush greenery provide for interesting scenery. It is part of the 326 mile Ohio to Erie Trail from Cincinnati to Cleveland.

Beautiful trail for biking

Very pecfull place.

Love walking here! Very nice and shady section of trail. This section of trail follows the Little Miami River and is part of the rail trail that connects Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus, Piqua and Bellefontaine.

This part of the trail is a snake section. In the mornings you are very likely to see a snake warming is belly on the paved trail. They do this because there are no Starbucks buildings here and they need to start their busy snake-jobs somehow. If you are walking or riding on this section and see what looks like a wavy stick, it's probably a snake.

In the evening you are likely to see deer crossing the trail. But once they walk into the trees they turn invisible. Magic deer.

But if you keep your eyes open you may see this critter in the woods (pictures of a white squirrel).

Very peaceful and nice place to walk and unwind (except for the snake part).

Edited to add a request: Dear people who do work on this section of trail, I have noticed there is a huge difference in the amount of bugs that attack me when I walk here compared to the Beavercreek creekside trail. Beavercreek must spray or somehow treat for bugs and Spring Valley doesn't.
Could you please find out how they do it and borrow their equipment?
I really like your section of trail but the mosquitoes are out of control.
